Using it on my M1917.
Installs without any drilling (which is an absolute requirement of mine, so I can restore the weapon to original. Holds the scope nice and tight. Works well

I needed to replace the rear iron sights on my Model 1917 Eddystone 30-06 rifle with a scope. I bought this kit. It took me about a half hour to have my rear iron sights replaced with a picatinny rail system and my Vortex scope mounted.The fit to the dovetail in the rifle was perfect and the included screws were exactly correctly threaded.I'm very happy with this product.
