Helps keep our trees healthy
We have two very large pine trees at our home in Idaho. One of them started to get a line Beatle infestation. We have purchased these the last 3 years and it appears to be working well. Easy to use, clean and effective.

May have saved my tree
This product is very easy to use and gives me an affordable way to help my 70year old oak tree. I think it had oak wilt. It already looks so much better than last season. If I succeed in saving the tree I will be a Mauget customer for life.

Saved my Sanity!
Late summer 2022 was not so enjoyable as my silver maple was invaded by lanternflies. This maple's ten foot in circumference very rough trunk renders wrap traps useless so I was like a madwoman killing over a thousand of them individually. Awful :( Didn't want to repeat this summer nor spend it spraying poison over a huge tree so was happy to find this product. Applied it in early June. As lantern fly don't get big and hideous till much later in the season the jury was out on that for quite a while but I did notice that the tree's new growth post application was unblemished. Summer progressed. Saw a few dreaded lanternflies around but not on my tree. Couldn't tell what was happening in the canopy but it still looked good. September came and now summer is over and they never appeared. Thought maybe it was an off year for them but then heard about the onslaught elsewhere nearby so I'm satisfied. Now we've had a week of rain and the leaves are starting to fall and I'm seeing black tar mold spots on them so it's not a perfect solution but I'm happy to have skipped last year's gruesome task.

Easy to use and cheaper than a professional!
Started noticing our oak trees were losing leaves and showing signs of sickness. Had a "tree dr" come out and assessed that our trees had either a fungus/borer and would charge us $400-$800 per tree with no guarantees. We have 30+ trees and simply could not afford to treat with an arborist. We found Mauget and decided to try. The product was simple to use and went into our trees easily. We spent $700 to treat ALL of our trees. I did have to call Mauget directly after the product was administer because I didn't know when/what results to expect and local arborists were unhelpful after they realized I treated myself. I spoke with Ann who has been with them for many years and she was extremely helpful with any and all questions. It's still too early to see full results. It's been 6 weeks and we were told oak shows signs of improvement in 8. Our leaves have stopped falling but we do have 1 tree that we believe is cankerous-the Mauget will slow down the progression of the disease but nothing will stop it. Losing 1 out of 30+ trees is a win in my book!

2nd year of using and has done excellent on Brown Tail moths
Only can say it has worked on our oak tree that we were spending $1000 per year cutting out infestations of moth bags/nests.

This product simply does not work. Period.
I've followed directions to the little detail. I've installed 21 of 24 capsules into 2 trees. I've watched several instruction videos on youtube, from contractors who use this and from Mauget itself. Out of 21 capsules, NOT ONE was empty in (as Mauget describes) minutes, hours... I left them in over night and in the afternoon they still show NO DECREASE of fluid. This is the biggest waste of my money I ever committed to.I don't even argue if the chemical itself is working. This system is not working. I believe it is faultily designed. It is just does not make sense per instructions. You pressurize it and then your pressure goes into the empty feeder tube - what a waste! It should be that you insert the tube, break the membrane and then make sure that chemical is in the feeder tube, then pressurize it to send chemical to the tree. I am not claiming this will work, but I still have few capsules to try it.Other product does exactly this. You pressurize after the feeder has chemical in it.

Appears to have worked quickly
Within six weeks the woolly adelgid was not visible on branches of an Eastern Hemlock that looked in danger of reaching a unrecoverable state. Time will tell if the rescue is successful but initial indications are promising. The units were easy to install and use. The only thing I would recommend is to install them at a slightly more pronounced angle than the instructions seem to indicate to avoid vapor lock (large air bubble) from blocking the feed tube. I learned that after installing a couple units and was able to adjust for the remainder. I'm pleased this method allows for treating just the tree and not the ground or entire environment around it as would happen with soil injections or sprays.
