Not just for spices and crystal salt, but for all sorts of small things and liquids - I've used it for toothpaste tablets for example.It is finished to the standard you expect of tableware, which to be honest I didn't really need, something cheap and cheerful in stainless steel would have done the job, but I have been looking for a small funnel with a wide tube (it's 2cm) for so long I was happy to pay for extra quality.Only small thing is I would have liked a tab for a handle - not essential, but I keep reaching for it.

What a handy little thing to have when you’re filling your salt and pepper, no mess on table from stray peppercorns ! Purchased with Cole and mason cruet sets both good value .

Fill the pepper and salt grinder with minimal spillage….Is it worth 10 of your english pounds… hmmm ???Is it better the making a funnel out of a take away menu???Maybe!You could use it as a micro ear trumpet too, if you are becoming a little deaf.But I use it for whole pepper corns and sea salt… nice!

This is a brilliantly simple little funnel that sits on or in the opening when you take the top off a pepper grinder. I have always struggled to get a nice transfer of peppercorns from a packet into a pepper grinder without some of them spilling and bouncing around the worktop and floor of the kitchen.With this funnel everyone of them ends up inside of the grinder.Instead of being an ugly cheap piece of plastic like a lot of funnels, this one is made of steel and is nicely finished.The bottom of the funnel is reasonably wide and therefore the peppercorns don’t pile up and block it.Obviously it can be used for many other things that need decanting into jars, bottles etc.Money well spent!

Complements the Derwent salt pepper mill set I recently purchased. Certainly does the job & makes filling much easier. Elegant but expensive for what it is.

Bought this to fill out Cole and mason salt and pepper mills I know it’s not cheap but it’s worth it plus they don’t make them any more so get one while you can. It’s great quality stainless steel and will last a life time.
