On my 2015 Trek Remedy 8, I'm swapping out the stock 2x drivetrain for 1x SRAM Eagle, and part of the process requires switching to a SRAM Dub bottom bracket. The world of bottom bracket terminology is a bit confusing, but I think the stock bottom bracket + shell I had on my Remedy was PF41 / BB89.5 / GXP. The shell is 89.5mm across and 41mm in diameter, and the bottom bracket that comes with the bike is 24mm on the drive side and 22mm on the non-drive side. I'm mentioning this in case anyone has a similar Trek bike and is as confused as I was before doing a bunch of research and finding this tool.I hesitated to buy this tool because it's essentially going to only be used once, but after a bunch of hassle of unsuccessfully trying to remove the existing bottom bracket without the tool, I finally caved and bought it. When the tool arrived, it took several whacks from a rubber mallet, but it worked like a charm to get the bottom bracket out, and I can see the value in having such a tool versus some other more makeshift methods, especially if you're going to use it more than once. But even just using it once, the amount of time I saved by just using the proper tool was probably worth the $45. At this point I'll probably just hang onto it and lend it out in my local mountain biking group or sell it on craigslist.In any case, from what I can tell, the BBT-90.3 is absolutely perfect for this kind of bottom bracket (PF41 / PF92 GXP) and worth the $45.

Used multiple times since purchase, its great for this intended task. I'm a firm believer in owning the right tool, and then not relying on/paying the shop where possible.

This tool is great for BB94 press fit in mountain bikes. I have successfully used it to drive out cups held in with grease and teflon paste, but not park retaining compound which is basically like glue. I don't use the drifts as I puchased a complete bearing press with higher quality machined drifts but they appear servicable. You can easily bend the arms slightly to gain additional pressure against the bb shell if your plastic cups have been tapped out before. Make sure to keep the driving end concentric with the shell you are driving the bb from to get a square impact on the cups instead of wedging them in sideways. That can be a bit fiddly since the shaft is by design smaller than most cranks.

This is a nice option for the home mechanic. It punched out the old bottom bracket in a few whacks. Very easy to use and well designed. I only used the washer pieces in a vice to install the new bottom bracket.It does seem kinda cheep that Park did not include a piece of all thread and two nuts! But otherwise the tool performs as expected.It is nice to know that it will last a long time since there are essentially no moving parts and it seems very well made.

I bought this to replace the bearings in my Trek road and mountain bikes. With three carbon fiber bikes needing the same type of bearing, I figured it would be more cost effective to buy it outright rather than relying on the LBS.The tool taps the bearings out easily enough without damaging the frame and bearing sockets. The press plates work with the Park headset press, or one you can make out of a threaded rod. I cannot bring myself to buy the press, so using the threaded rod instead, I was able to quickly and easily press the bearings in, with perfect alignment. The plates align the bearings well, so there is no worry about doing it incorrectly, except for maybe using too much force. This has saved me $50 between two bearing replacements, so it has already paid for itself.

The Park Tool Press-Fit Bottom Bracket Bearings removal tool (BBT 90.3) worked well on my Fuji Gran Fondo 3.0 BB86 bottom bracket. I wanted to upgrade to ceramic bottom bracket bearings and the Park Tool made it easy to remove the old bearings and bearing cups. The tool did mar the bearings I removed, but I was not going to reuse them anyway. The tool comes with two bushings for installing the new bottom bracket cups and bearings.

Essential tool to change out bottom bracket bearings. Read the specs to make sure this is the tool for your bottom bracket. The removal tool is easy to use. Just follow the straightforward instructions. You'll need a mallet of a block of wood the whack the tool to push the bearing- easy. Also it comes with 2 bearing press rings used to make sure you are pressing the bearings into the housing evenly and in proper alignment. You'll need a bearing press tool, or just as effectively you'll need a long 5/8" or 3/4" bolt, a few flat washers and a nut to use as a press. Again easy and the bolt, nut and washers should cost about $6 in a hardware or home improvement store. That's a lot less expensive that buying one of the various presses available. The best benefit of this tool is that you can change your bottom bracket bearings yourself and make sure that the bearings and seals are installed correctly.

Excellent tool KIT! The removal tool worked as described, but the bushings made the purchase for me as they are worth half the price. I removed the stock BB bearings from a 2015 Giant Defy (aluminum BB shell) in less than a minute. Used a homemade press with the installation bushings and perfectly pressed in new Wheels Manufacturing BB bearings in less than 3 minutes. I'm handy with tools, but this was my first time performing these tasks.

Prodotto ottimo. L'unica cosa che gli si può rimproverare è il prezzo ma per quanto riguarda la qualità con Park Tool si va sempre sul sicuro. Per capire come si usa basta andare su Internet e cercare il numero del modello. C'è anche un video ufficiale sul sito dell'azienda. Io l'ho usato anche per estrarre dei cuscinetti con foro compatibile (tipo SKF 61805). Per la cronaca anche se i cuscinetti sono usciti fuori dalla sede senza danneggiarsi io avevo già quelli di ricambio quindi di fatto non ho rischiato nulla.

Après payant un magasin vélo pro 30 euro pour le regarder forcer les BBs sorties martèlement avec marteau et une barre pour une demi-heure, j'ai acheté ce produit pour la prochaine changement des roulements BB... incroyable... ça ma pris moins de 5 seconds sans aucun effort ni les sentiments par rapport des dégâts de mon cadre...

Needed this for my BB on a Giant TCR Advanced SL3 2014. Think it was a BB72 or BB92. Not sure. Anyway, this worked a treat. Wonderful tool with bearing press cups handily supplied as well (which I slotted over a threaded M4 bar with a couple of nuts to make a press). Bit pricey but worthwhile investment especially when a homemade press is factored in.
