How do I get the remote to work?

Hi there is a plastic “barrier “ between the battery- you need to remove this plastic stripe. Just simple pull it out. Hope this is what you need to know. Enjoy.

The lights work but the music dance mode won’t work?

Make sure you hold the remote close to it for it to work properly that might help. Mine work fine as long as the remote is close when I change the mode

Does it drain the battery when the car ignition is off? or do i have to remember to unplug it?

That depends on your car and if the 12v socket stays active all the time (like my 04 fiesta)

Dies it leave a sticky mess behind when taken off?

I didn't find them that sticky if I'm being honest, I ended up glueing them on. They're so cheap I just left them on the TV when it died.
