Mattel 2000 Victorian Ice Skater Blonde Barbie

Love the burgundy hat. Face is pretty. Just the right amount of curly blonde hair... And she's skating! Everyone needs a skating Barbie! The base she stands on turns and plays music. Very happy with purchase.

The doll looks so pretty in the Victorian skating attire

I bought this as a doll for my daughter, but it really is meant to just be a decorative piece. The doll is supposed to stay atop the stand, and the stand is supposed to rotate, and play music. It doesn't rotate consistently, and when it does it goes soooooooo slowly, one can barely tell it's actually moving. The worst part is that the seller kept it somewhere smokey, so the product, and the box STINK of stale cigarette smoke.

The doll is a little difficult to remove from the box, especially the hair. I carefully used a seam ripper in the back to dislodge the enormous mount of stitching attaching the hair to the back of the inside of the box. She comes with a music box stand and it fits very well. The ice skates lend authenticity to the presentation. She also comes with a doll hairbrush which is very much needed to get her hair in order. Once assembled, this is a lovely doll.

My heart was singing when I saw this barbie arrive. I had one when I was little, and I was beyond grateful to see it for sale. I highly recommend this seller. They care about their product and I am over the moon to share it with my own children.

This doll was more than I was expecting! My daughter loved it! This was a Christmas gift, and I really am impressed! I love the music!

The clothing is pretty, the quality of the doll is good, the skates are useful. I would recommend it to anyone who likes better than run-of-the-mill dolls.
