The wife of best-selling Rich Dad Poor Dad author, and a financial guru in her own right, helps readers become financially savvy. Original. 100,000 first printing. Review: Ready For A Fresh Perspective On Investing? - I am a huge fan of Robert Kiyosaki's Rich Dad series. I had listened to Kim's previous (audio)book, Rich Woman: A Book on Investing for Women: Because I Hate Being Told What to Do! . I was inspired by the stories and advice in that book, but It's Rising Time takes things to a whole new level. The basic Rich Dad theory is covered again, but this time the book moves faster. Kim shares her advice and talks candidly about common (and not so common!) stumbling blocks when investing. Another issue that I thought was key here was that she mentioned psychology and how that plays into investing. We try to control risk, but if we can't control ourselves, we can make bad financial decisions based purely on emotion, not facts. Also, each chapter has an inspiring subheading. For example: A Recipe For Raising Capital has the subheading "To rise up to an abundance of opportunities takes...." Each subheading begins with the theme of rising above and beyond, empowering the reader to learn more and make everyday changes in their lives. I feel these are key in driving home the message that investing is really a journey. And it can be a fun one, if we chose to make it so! I'm not usually a highlighter person, but now the pages of this book are covered with highlighter! I recommend It's Rising Time for people who are looking for overall investment strategies, not specific techniques. If you are new to investing, this book is a must read. Review: Recommended Reading for All Women - I would recommend this book to all women looking to be independent not only financially but in general as well. I bought it for my fiance but read through it myself just to see if there was anything I had not previously read in one of the Rich Dad books. I did not learn anything new, which I expected as I have studied extensively on multiple types of investing and personal finance, but consider this the perfect starter book for any woman looking to get a grip on her life and become fully independent. The book is easy to grasp, making it excellent for younger women just getting started in the world, and covers a range of financial concepts which provide a great foundation to start building on. The book provides a good understanding of basic financial statements, formulas, and vocabulary along with a philosophy similar to that in the Rich Dad collection. The information provided is current and applicable for women of all ages down to probably around nine.

Love the book and Kim's great attitude!
Sorry if you're offended by my comments about women, they are general, OK? Kim nails the talk that goes on in a woman's mind and the fears of failure that accompany some of those. It really does take some nerve and stubborn mindset to follow your dreams and adventures in a "Man's World"! She lays things out in simple and accurate language and I am a big fan of her podcasts and interviews. I'm a pretty independent woman with BIG dreams, but it's nice to have a successful woman share some of her insights into how we generally view things. We all need that support! Thanks Kim :-)

Excellent Read!!
I remember when I first bought Kim's first book Rich Woman when she first published it. I loved reading every page! And her second book is even better! I felt Kim was talking directly to me. I could relate a lot to her and what her stories were about in her book. It definitely put my mind back on track and made me much more focused on seeing my path to accomplish my goals. I read every last page! (And was sad when the book was over.) But now on to my next book that I bought called "The Midas Touch" by Robert Kiyosaki and Donald Trump. You need to buy It's Rising Time!! I thought while reading this book.. "I paid $11 for this book and I really feel I am getting so much out of it. Great investment!"

Great Book on Financial Freedom for Women!
If you want to change your situation and learn about financial freedom, Kim Kiyosaki's new book, "It's Rising Time!" will help you. Kim Kiyosaki went from having no money to being financially-free, and she shares her in-the-trenches knowledge to help others. With her great tips and simple guideline, following the "Triple-A Triangle", Kim provides the inspiration and financial education insights necessary for women to set goals and take action. This is a must-read for any woman who wants to be in a better place and truly live life to the fullest. Thanks for a great book, Kim!

Good rah-rah book with sound financial advice
The book contains basic but sometimes easy to miss how-tos in achieving financial freedom. I particularly liked how Kim Kiyosaki differentiates what can be considered as assets vs. what we may think as assets but are actually liabilities. She also enumerates the kinds of investments we can make and how to make them soundly as well as how to invest using OPM (other people's money. More importantly, at least for me, it shares the experiences of several women entrepreneurs in addition to those of Kim Kiyosaki's. Plus, it has this great "rah-rah-rah siz bumbah" tone to it which makes you itch to go out there and start investing. For someone who hasn't read a self-help book on or has little experience in managing one's finances or investing before, this book makes for a great read.

Very inspiring book for women
I was familiar with Rich dad, poor dad written by Robert Kiyosaki, and in Kim's book, some of the same ideas are restated/reinforced. I really enjoyed reading this book, because: - it's written from a woman's perspective, includes fears and excuses that women use to not take charge of their finances, but gives ideas of where to start in the process to overcome these fears - includes serious facts of what can happen to women who don't take interest in their own financial future - plenty of stories from successful women who have chosen different paths to their own financial freedom.
