The Social Self and Everyday Life: Understanding the World Through Symbolic Interactionism 1st Edition

Charmaz, et al, demystify Symbolic Interactionism while rendering it current for today's students. Students often struggle with theory and, let's face it, SI can be pretty abstract. Without "writing down" to anyone, these authors make this theoretical orientation clear and approachable. They also suggest future directions for SI, which we need. I would love to give you a more detailed review but, alas, the book is in my office and I am not. Just know that this is a wonderful book!
