Project Management: The Managerial Process

I purchased this book for use in my graduate school project management course and I must say, I have been quite impressed. It explains the concepts and application of management theory fairly concisely and very thoroughly. There is no BS filler material and I have found it to be quite interesting and incredibly useful when attending lecture and participating in class discussions. Many "real world" examples of the concepts are given, which help quite a bit when translating the concepts into practice. If you are required to have this for a course (it claims to be the Superman of PM textbooks), or whether you want to brush up on knowledge for your PM certification, this is most likely going to be the book you want to purchase.

This book was required for a Project Management course I was taking. I got the book used for a much better price than I was able to find anywhere else. I was in good shape and completely met my needs.

This item arrived quickly and in great condition. Also, it had the CDs with it. I am in class with students who purchased used books that did not include the CDs; and for this particular class, one of the CDs is useful for studying for the final exam. Thank you.

This book is a great project management book, complete with pictures and everything you could ever need to understand the concepts presented. This book also arrived in good condition.

Didn't receive product! Group needs to be removed from Amazon. Do not use this group. They put a low price online so it shows as the best buy leading the consumer to purchase.

The book is easy to read and understand and has very good case studies to accompany every topic plus a lot of examples. I would recommend it for graduate students in all fields.

Not enough real life references to MS Project 2010. Could have done a better job with that part but overall pretty good book.
