I was expecting a size sixteen dress form but found the polystyrene form easy to lift and handle. I have used cotton wadding to adapt the standard form to my shape after watching John Scott on Sewing Street (TM).

This was not the most expensive, but not the cheapest. It is sturdy, & the quality ie good. Very true to size. Removable cover so easy to keep clean. Looks great, I have used it to photograph clothes and it's just what I needed.

Got married two years ago and my wife wanted to display her dress. Over the Christmas period, I’d redecorated our bedroom so this was the right time to purchase the manikin. She opened it Christmas morning and started to laugh, she put it together straight away with easy. She then carried it upstairs and put the dress on it. Now it stands pride at place in the bedroom. So yes easy to assemble, extremely lightweight and easily movable even with a dress on it. Fantastic purchase would recommend to anyone.

the stand is quite sturdy when youve tighten the screws at the bottom. Easy to assemble. However im pretty sure it will arrive somewhat damaged as ive seen other people’s bodyforms more dented than mine. Overall when covered, it looks nice. The bottom sheds by the way so you may want to cover it.

Everything about this was grand the only reason I deducted 1 point from the movability option is because when you move it you have to make sure to lift with the stem as if you try lift by the body it will just slide off the stem. so maybe a click type mechanism to secure top to bottom would be a good idea. thanks

It's a nice form but it kept falling over so I returned it.
