I am relatively new to tattoos and until now have been pretty horrible about taking care of them. I used that dreadful greasy stuff on my first two tattoos and because it was so greasy and non absorbing it would get on everything and I found that even though it kept my tattoos nice and hydrated during the healing process, I was loathe to use it. No one told me about the itching stage of tattoos and oh my god did I go nuts with the itching. My first tattoo I wanted to rip my skin off. Between the itchiness and that greasy ointment I was ready to scream.How is it that so many people have tattoos and no one talks about the itching? My friends don't have tattoos and they all think I am nuts for getting them. Of course the question I get most often is "didn't it hurt?" NO, IT DIDN'T HURT! But I want to scream "but it itches like a mother________" That's the real problem.After my fourth tattoo session (I'm just building on the original tattoo) someone recommended this after inked product so I gave it a try. Oh My God, what a difference.... It is not at all greasy, absorbs into the skin and leaves the tattoo hydrated for hours. HOURS! My tattoos look richer and brighter than ever, and my new tattoo healed with hardly an itch and it was the largest tattoo section of all of them. Unbelievable. Truly unbelievable. I never would have imagined the side benefit of limiting the itchy phase to practically non existant.BOTTOM LINE: Maybe it seems a little bit pricey for what you are getting but believe me it is absolutely worth it. Non greasy, a little bit goes a long way, absorbs into the tattoo and keeps it moist, can be used immediately after tattooing and during all phases of the healing process, AND KEEPS THE ITCHY PHASE TO A MINIMUM. I can't say enough good things about it.

UPDATE: This stuff is great!!! It enhances older tattoos and with regular use brings back color and details. Excellent absorbency. Moistures, aids in healing and in protecting your ink. I’ve tried many products ya to preserve my ink and this is by far the very best. Contains grapeseed oil which helps liven up colors and is a great moisturizer. Pricey but worth every penny. Extremely and highly recommended for tatttoo after care and maintenance.

This is my favorite after care lotion. I use Aquaphor for the first few days then switch to this. It's lightweight while still being ultra moisturizing and it doesn't clog my pores. It's also not greasy feeling like Hustle Butter which is also great. You get a very large amount in your tube for the price. It keeps my new work hydrated all day and night without irritating my skin or feeling heavy.

I would highly recommend this product if anybody with tattoos. It goes on smooth, not greasy, has a nice peppermint sent to it that is not overwhelming. Feels good on the tattoo makes the tattoo look rejuvenated. It goes on easy and a little bit goes a long way.. I highly recommend this product.

Worked extremely well! Love it!

It smells great and is definitely helping heal my new half sleeve faster , but it does make my arm itch alittle after applying it .

I recently started my tattoo sleeve and I wasn't sure which aftercare to get since it had been a few years since my last tattoo and last time I got a tattoo they just said use unscented lotion they didn't have special aftercare creams, balms and salves. So I got a sample from my tattoo artist of this and I had also purchased badger balm tattoo salve because it was highly recommended but, THIS AFTERCARE CREAM IS 100% THE BEST AFTERCARE CREAM!!! It smells good its smooth and absorbs into your skin so you don't have this sticky tacky skin. Although I like the badger balm tattoo salve as well and I typically use the balm at night, I definitely use this After Inked cream more!
