Matte Black - Vinyl Decal Mod Skin Kit by System Skins - Compatible with PlayStation 3 Super Slim Console

I've gotten in the habit of buying decals for all my consoles, since black is rather boring. Skins for PS3 Slims are really hard to find, I've discovered; but I was really happy to find a nice turquoise blue for mine! The decals (one set for the console and two for controllers) came in a plastic bag and arrived in a durable envelope; so there weren't any scratches, smudges, tears or bent corners. And, the process of applying them is very simple, too.

I keep getting the incorrect sticker. Otherwise pretty cool look'n. I ordered a PS3 Slim not "Super Slim"

This kit is pretty cool, and really does give your console a new look. I bought the red chrome mirror, love the way looks. TIP: Take your time applying this product!!!! When the pieces are on your console, they stay on your console!!! Which means... If you rush and put a piece on crooked, it will take a miracle to get it off and fix it. The only part of the application that actually took a little finesse, was applying the PS3 stickers. The adhesive on these stickers is NOT cheap, and will hold. I would recommend cleaning the surface with alcohol, and I used 91% Isopropyl Alcohol.

it looks really nice and seems to be good quality , it's been over a month already and the color isn't showing any signs of rubbing off and stickers aren't showing any sign of peeling, and the controller gets alot of usage.

I suppose it is partially my fault for making this decision based off a picture alone, but I expected the color to have at least a bit of a shiny finish. Nope, it was plain blue. No special finish or anything, just... plain blue.

Very easy to apply and setup, and using a little bit of soapy water allows for manual adjustment. You don't need a spray bottle, like the instructions state. A soft sponge dabbed with dish detergent + water will work fine. Not as shiny as product picture, but that was expected. Also, one of the side panels does not have the hole cut-out for the PS3 logo indentation. But this is easily fixed with an Exacto knife.

It has a great look to it, however, this item I would NOT recommend if you do not have steady hands. Re-applying gives it a "bleh" look. Over all the product didn't overly impress me. It was "OK".

I absolutely love this mod sticker. It makes the PS3 look very nice. It was easy to put on the unit itself. However, was much harder to put on the remote. And with heavy use the sticker doesn't hold up as well on the remote. I plan to buy more tho as it's a pretty good effect and look.
