Good value for the price, and works as advertised. Illuminates urine and other stains. We are using it to identify locations of mouse urine. Fresh urine has a bright glow where older urine and other stains (the light shows you pretty much everything as stains go) are less luminous. Light is compact, easy to use, comfortable to hold. UV illumination is easiest for our eyes to see in dark or dim conditions.

Works perfectly. It is hard to get decent photos with this, but this worked exactly as it should have. When looking at the photos, those light spots are parts where my cat has peed. I’ve used black lights previously and they don’t really show anything but this flashlight detected all the cat urine in our bedrooms. We had an issue where one of our cats came down with a medical issue and started peeing on our new carpet in two of our bedrooms. I was able to find all of the spots with the help of this black light; treated the stains with an enzyme destroyer and then cleaned the carpets with my steam cleaner. Went back over the spots with the black light and they were all gone! The cat urine smell is gone and because we used an enzyme cleaner the cat should not go back to peeing in that spot again. If you are needing a good black light to find pet stains, for $13 you can’t beat this little flash light!

First I want to start with the bad of this flashlight. I was using it when suddenly it wouldn't turn on. I changed the battery's thinking they just ate them super quick. That was not the case and I thought I'd have to get an exchange. Instead I took it apart and found out that the button assembly just wasn't put together properly and the light wasn't hitting the metal contact to give it power. 3 min later I had it all back together and it's working great again. This thing has a nice powerful light and the weight of the light is nice. With this I was able to find where my male dog has been secretly peeing. I've been trying to chase down the pee smell for longer the. I want to admit. My nose was tired of always being in the carpet attempting to find the pee. Thanks to this light my house is well on its way to a pee free existence! 4 stars because I had to fix it but it was an easy fix.

Shows pet stains you might not even know were there. Instructions say the stain has to be dry. So I found a damp spot on the rug and it didn't show up. I put down a paper towel to absorb the dampness. Then I held the paper towel to the light and there it was. Also found a few dried stains easily. Works great and it's cheap.

Update:This seller gave a full refund after I left a negative review. The refund window had closed. I don’t ask for a refund. They just automatically did it. Very much appreciated.This light has been used rarely and I have owned it two months.The blue light turns to a beige light within a minute of turning it on.
