Sturdy and easy to install
After doing extensive research and reading reviews, I settled on this tray. It seemed to do what I need it to do without getting out the toolbox. It works perfectly for my needs: fastens securely with a few turns of the knobs in the brackets without damaging/marring the desk and the tray is big enough for my semi-full-sized keyboard, mouse pad, and mouse. There's even enough room depth-wise I could get a wrist pad when/if I need it. The only thing I worried about was how the brackets would look on top of the desk, but in my pic, you'll see I have a large desk pad that covers it well. Which by the way, I would highly recommend these large pads--they look great and is an awesome extra large mouse pad, protects the desk, and provides a good writing surface. The only things I wished the tray could do is roll in/out smoother (it's sturdy plastic material in a track, no bearings or mechanism to make it slide smooth) and adjustable tilt. But, that would be asking for things that require more costs, I'm sure. So, for what it is: a sturdy keyboard/mouse tray that slides under the desk when not in use, it's pretty darn good for the price!

Sticks a little but a game changer
This was super easy to install and really gave me more desk space without too much of a headache. If you are on the fence about this one, do yourself a favor and get it. It is quite sturdy. The only thing is that the sides stick a little so its not super smooth to roll in and out but for the price point, its not an issue at all. Its also not a hard stick, just need to apply a tad more force than usual to open or close from the wrong angle.

Adequate, but not great
I needed a keyboard tray that could clamp on to my antique desk without damaging it. It does that, and installs easily. However, one side of the sliding mechanism has never quite fit right, and now pops out so the tray is uneven. It does not appear to be fixable (since it's all plastic) without breaking/ruining it entirely. It's still usable, sort of, but one side is higher than the other (since one side is inside the sliding bracket and the other is on top) whcih mean the keyboard is wobbly like a table with one leg that's too short. if I worked at this desk all day every day it would be impossible, but it's only a few hours here and there.

Great way to make my workspace more comfortable and spacious!
Super easy to install. You only have 4 screws to a drive in to put together and then tighten on the desk with the knobs.I was afraid it wouldn't be as sturdy as I needed, but after a few days of use it seems good. It does tend to slide forward and backward as you use it if you don't pull it all the way out where it sort of "locks" into place, but it doesn't move enough to bother me, so I still use it partly pulled out.Its nice and big, which is great because I have my mouse pad and wrist rests for my carpal tunnel. It fits all of that perfectly It!It works great. My desk is standing height and does not adjust. I mostly stand, but also bought a drafting chair that sits higher for when I need to sit. Since I am 5'2" I am not the ideal height for my desk and by using this tray my keyboard and mouse are at the right height for me!Bonus, much more space on the surface of my desk for paper, pens, phone, drinks and all the other things I like to have within reach while I'm working!!!Definitely worth it!

Easy to install, sufficiently sturdy, some concerns about ruggedness
I purchased this to replace keyboard tray that came with the desk. I am satisfied with it as a replacement. This was purchased on an Amazon Lightning Deal for about $50. A week after the sale the keyboard is the same price after a $10 coupon.First things: Yes, it is plastic. I knew this when I purchased because of the picture of the big plastic keyboard tray.Installation is pretty trivial. Install the two clamps using two screws on each side. With an electric screwdriver this took less than an a minute. The main concern is that the screws were fairly tiny in comparison to the size of the tray. The tray itself was larger than expected but that's a good thing.Once the clamps are attached, it can be mounted to to the desk. I removed the old tray and pushed this into place. The front of my desk is curved slightly so the clamps are not perfectly aligned but it's hardly noticeable. The clamps do affect the clearance slightly so be careful of knees.Once installed, the tray seems sturdy enough *for* a keyboard and mouse. The tray has some vertical play. There is some slight side-to-side play also, but not really noticeable. Versus the wood and metal tray it replaced, it is acturally more stable. I had no concerns with usage, even when pushing down on the tray to see if it could hold the weight of my arms. No real concerns. As far as cons, there are a few. First, the price seems a little high for a couple clamps, plastic rails, and a plastic tray. Second, the clamp to tray attachment screws appear to be the weakest link. I would prefer more robust screws. Third, the rails need to be smoother. All said, I'm satisfied with this tray and may purchase again for another desk.

Gives me much needed desk space
We had ordered one of these for my daughter's workstation (she needed more desk space for illustrating equipment) and it worked so great for her, when I started working from home and realized my desk needed to support my work laptop as well, I looked into the same thing. It works wonderfully. Easily installs (we had some mild issue as we thought it would be lop sided clamping down over the desk support bars, but it cleared them and does clamp to the desk top), slides in and out functionally, and has enough room for my larger gaming keyboard and my mouse.I now have plenty of space for my work laptop, and can game more ergonomically with my hands in a lower position.I am not sure on the durability, I've given it five stars initially as it seems sturdy. I will be keeping it stored in the IN position when not in use, but with cats, it doesn't feel like it would be that sturdy.

Wiggles Around
The rails are not great quality and the whole thing wiggles and shifts around on you.
