Grain bag
Brewing beer is a lot easier with this. Simple as that. Makes the machine run smoothly and there are no clogs in the grainfather. Used to have a lot of clogs and this has cut down on a lot of frustrations. Design is good, mesh is somewhat thick, stores away easily, very durable, and good for the money. Brewed over 50 gallons with this and no problems so far.

Great Quality.
I bought and used 8 of these bags this year for my wine firmentation. Simply dump your must chunks into it and they hold them for months without any issues. You do need to use a basic tie wrap to seal the ends so that the bag doesnt open up and spill into the wine.

Great for winemaking
Works for wine making. We used it to keep our pitted satsuma plums in a 6 gallon fermenter. It worked well and also cleaned up easily. It’s larger that the small cotton bags used previously, but worked perfectly to keep all the fruit together so it can be easily squeezed and then removed from the must.

Very strong and cleaned up easier than expected!
I have typically used layers of cheesecloth or a fine wire mesh strainer when I occasionally needed to strain small seeds or debris from a liquid. We had picked over 11 lbs of mulberries and I didn't want to fuss with many little batches. This item had quick shipping and looked like it would do the trick. I cooked and mashed the berries and put all of them at once into one of these bags. I was impressed with the quality of the material and the strength of the seams. We twisted this and had 2 people pressing on it putting their weight into it. My son was helping me and wanted to try taking some of the pulp out of the bag and running it through my cone-shaped sieve with a wooden pestle. He thought he could get out a little more juice that way and then run it through the bag again to catch any seeds that snuck through. I was quite impressed and surprised that the pulp we removed form this bag was too dry to give any more juice, even when pressed with the wooden pestle. I rinsed it off and then threw it into the washing machine. It may be (understandably) a tad discolored after using with mulberries which stain, but the bag wasn't a deep purple as I expected after rinsing. I'm glad I bought these and can think of several other uses for them. *Update* It came through the washing machine like a champ and had very little shadowing of color even after having mulberries sit in it (and I assumed stain it) overnight. Already using it again.
