Works great!
I use Dr. Bump after waxing and epliating. Sometimes it takes two applications a few hours apart to fully calm the skin, but it provides immediate relief and does an amazing job.

Stops itching!
Any time I shave or wax and the hair begins growing in again, I itch like crazy. A few sprays of this and it’s relieved. It burns at first for like 15 seconds (probably from my skin being raw from all the clawing) and after that it’s completely soothed. I’m back to buy another bottle, my first one lasted well over a year.

OK product, but I recommend Kolua sprays instead.
I bought this Dr. Bump pre/post wax spray because several reviews said it was a necessity for waxing, and I was starting my home wax journey. I bought the Kolua Wax starter kit which comes with a 2 separate bottled of pre and post wax oils. So in this review, I’ll essentially be comparing the 2.The Dr. Bump spray doesn’t moisturize much but it does smell great and it goes on sheerly. When I used this before waxing, I suspect made my skin feel drier because the waxing a good bit. When I used Dr. Bump after waxing, it did not do very well at removing remnants of the wax.Compared to the Kolua pre-wax oil spray, Dr. Bump doesn’t measure up. Kolua pre-wax oil spray provides some moisture to your skin before waxing, without being too oily, thereby allowing the wax to stick to the hairs. The Kolua pre-wax spray is a MUST is because it cleanses the skin very well and SIGNIFICANTLY reduces the pain experienced with waxing. I waxed half my face using Dr. Bump as a pre-wax spray and the other half using the Kolua pre-wax oil spray. I didn’t even flinch on the half I used with the Kolua spray, compared to shedding several tears on the side I waxed after using Dr. Bump. Similarly, I waxed my left leg using Dr. Bump and my right using Kolua for pre-wax. The Kolua leg did not hurt at. all. The Dr. Bump leg hurt quite a bit. I’ve never expected waxing not to hurt, and I’ve been getting waxed for years now, but the side waxed with Dr. Bump seemed to hurt more than I was used to.For after-wax treatment comparison, Kolua post-wax oil does well at getting rid of the remaining wax bits and at soothing my skin. I can’t really speak on its use for bump prevention because I didn’t use it on the areas that usually form bumps. By comparison, the Dr. Bump spray is OK when it comes to soothing after waxing, but not at removing wax remnants and not at preventing bumps, which is its main selling point. To prevent bumps, you’re better off using witch hazel to soothe and apple cider vinegar for antibacterial after-wax care for the first 2 days and then an AHA serum and tea tree oil for the 3-7th day.Overall, I think this bundle is absolutely worth it, and I will be purchasing it as soon as I run out of the sprays in my starter kit.

Do not buy this!
I used this products after after waxing my bikini line and the next day I woke with irritation of my vulva that was progressively getting worse and it turned out I had a yeast infection. I’ve never gotten one in my life but I gave this product the benefit of the doubt, maybe it was something else. A trip to the doctor, a few pills, and then gone. A few weeks go by, I wax and try using this product again (not even close to my vulva, just bikini line and upper thighs). Guess what, I wake up the next day same irritation and boom another yeast infection. This product is the only common denominator. Please do not buy this.
