Can the Cedar Mill name plate be taken off?

I have nothing against Cedar Mill, but I do not want to advertise what might be in this case. The uninformed will obviously decide it must be valuable since I'll always have it locked, but if they see "firearms" on a label on the outside, it's just inviting trouble. The fact the CM considers removing the nameplate as voiding the warranty is bad faith by them, unless that nameplate is holding the product together....

What length of lock shackle is needed to lock the case?

Great question! We use a Master Lock 140T with a 7/8" long shackle that is 1/4" in diameter.

Do you have a smaller one that fits a Glock 43 better? I feel this is just too much case for a sub compact. Thanks.

Not at this moment, but it is a good idea. I'll bring it up to the development team and see what we can come up with.

Will this hold a smith and wesson 9 shield hand gun ?

Yes, with extra space for extra mags & ammo. I have a full size M2.0 9 with 4.6” Barrel and two spare mags in mine
