Not as much power as I was expecting.
I purchased the DAC-X6 as an upgrade for my motherboard's decent sound output. I recently purchased a pair of Beyerdynamic DT990 Pro 250ohm headphones, and my motherboard would need 100% volume to get decent sound out of the 990s. An inexpensive amp was deemed a requirement to get the most out of these high-impedance headphones.But upon first use, I noticed a lack of power and low-end sound quality compared to my motherboard's 3.5mm headphone jack. Upon checking the manual for the DAC X6, I noticed the technical specifications are nowhere near the product page as-advertised (see image for a scan of the physical manual enclosed with the DAC-X6.)The manual's specs are listed as "281mW @ 16 ohms"... when the product page states "1000mW @ 16 ohms". Near my headphones level of 250ohm, the manual states "38mW @ 300ohm" when it should be "180mW @ 300ohm"... and I'm inclined to agree with the physical manual, since the DAC-X6 isn't much more powerful than my motherboard's onboard soundcard.For $65, after reading a bunch of reviews saying this amp is powerful for the money; I'm very underwhelmed, and $65 for a practical sidegrade to my motherboard's headphone jack is just embarrassing.

Good but have Windows issues
Works great but the most recent 2021 Windows 10 updates broken the drivers and when I launch youtube or video game, sound cuts off. I know this is a Windows problem but wish the manufacturer would have their own drivers to resolve this. Microsoft is no help.
