This pass through connector make it easy to install. Just feed the 8 wires through, crimp using the standard crimper, and trim the excess wires with a sharp blade. Great value

For me there are a few things I noticed about these net ends. First, I can see the wire colors very clearly through the plastic making my double check of wire order easier. As I am inserting the wires there is a solid smooth feel, giving me the confidence that my wires are going to stay put. And crimping them is a breeze, knowing that the wires are solid providing me with a solid network connection. Great value for the money as well.

Update: these are probably fine. The issue was with the use of the crimping tool. CRIMP JUST ONCE! I was over crimping with the tool. Just press down once firmly and they work.I have terminated about 6 CAT 5e cables using these . Not one has worked yet. After testing, there are several wires that are not connected. Now it could be the Trendnet crimper or could be these connectors. I am getting some other 5e RJ45 connectors to see if it is the connectors. If that fails, then i have to figure out if there is something wrong with the crimper. I am not an expert at building cables but i have followed instructions very carefully. So i do not see what could be doing wrong.

I've used these rj45 ends/ male ends for over a year. Works great in commercial and residential use. Never had any problems with these connectors. Pass through is a great benefit as well. Would recommend

Works great, but you have to make sure you have every wire in correct order and neatly in place before you attempt to insert into the jack.
