I’m completely In Love with this rug!!!

WOW...I LOVE THIS RUG!!! "EVERYONE" LOVES THIS RUG. I am a Realtor who does a ton of staging homes, and had to have some associates come see this rug. Although this rug, is for ME!! But for the cost, it definitely would add to any room, goes with almost any decor as well.VERY FAST SHIPPING TOO. It came looking better I ever could have expected!! The size & shape are perfect!! A tad bigger than 5' X 7'. Looks almost identical to photo, just a little less white. That is what I was hoping for. SO happy!! The markings couldn't have been better, had I picked them myself. The colors I really wanted, and was hoping for, were...caramel, brown, black, and white. That's exactly what I got.NO stinky smell. Smells like a new pair of leather something. I have it in a small office room, and everyone says the smell is of a normal new leather smell. (As I am use to it), it's so faint already...people say they hardly notice it, and I've only had it down 2 weeks with the door closed. (I am in the process of decorating that room, and have things on the floor I don't want moved...so I kept the door closed.) And I am SUPER PICKY!! The price is unreal for such a great quality product. I ordered one from "C Wilds Cowhide Leather Rugs" I received a week later...I pulled it out and no way, mine looks and feels like a million bucks in comparison. The C Wilds one was SO stiff and a wrinkled mess. Which can be normal...also a few ripped/shredded area's on bottom side, also can be normal. BUT...the colors and marking were almost ugly. So take stiff, wrinkled, shredded areas underneath, and add ugly. The whole deal was an absolute no for me. 'RODEO COW HIDE RUGS' ARE FAR SUPERIOR!!I, like everyone was worried because of a couple bad reviews...but there are WAY more positive than negative reviews. Some people are just never happy.Some I'm sure had legitimate complaints. I did see one photo where someone's rug was not close to the picture, so I get that review. But, I also read if the color is way off, they will replace it for you very quickly, & easily. Also for the price, I mean really?? I have another cow hide at our lake home we bought several years ago, and paid over $700. This one is much nicer. Softer back side, laid flat right away, and the colors are simply amazing!! I ordered this through Amazon. Sold by Rodeo Cow hide Rugs.I added a couple photo's. The rug looks WAY better in person, and will look better once I have finished the room, and the rug isn't smooshed over to one side. :-)Gabby

My rug is now almost 5 years old and it still looks great. The hair doesn’t fall out even after vacuuming it and regular cleaning. High quality materials. Great value

Love this rug

I like everything about this rug. It's a perfect size and adds a very nice rustic touch to my basement bar. The color is a nice blend of brown and white. It's thinner than I expected but that turns out to be a plus because the rug is very east to place and to move around. It will be simple to roll it up and move it for cleaning. It seems quite secure on the floor and I don't think it will need carpet tape to stay in place. The surface is pleasantly soft but the hair is short enough that cleaning will be easy. My grandkids were down there playing on it and all I had to do was sweep it off a little when they left. Yes, it arrived folded instead of rolled, but the minor creases are not that noticeable and are already flattening out. I've noticed no odor as some other people have mentioned. All in all, I love the rug and would reccomend it.

We have purchased Rodeo rugs in the past and they are great. This particular rug was returned because it wasn’t the right color for our decor. Nothing wrong with the rug just my bad for picking the wrong color. Would buy from them again.

Great looking rug and have received a ton of compliments. Mine came in just black and white which was perfect for my home - I didn't receive an email to verify what it would like beforehand but I'm sure I could have returned if I wanted brown. It is a bit thin as other reviewers have mentioned. Soft to the touch on both sides though (the top is obviously soft cowhide if you go against the grain, the bottom is a felt-like material) and I think quality and appearance are great considering the cheap cost. Also, pretty sure mine is not 6x8ft even at the longest/widest parts but I haven't measured to be fair. Just keep in mind this is cowhide so of course it's going to be irregular and that's the beauty in it but...(1) The irregular outline caused one piece to come folded and took a bit of time to "fall back down." I've now owned for about 2 weeks and it's all smoothed out(2) My Roomba has problems going over it and gets either stuck on the irregular sides or avoids it. Not a huge deal, I just need to now invest in a hand-held vacuum to clean this rug

Awesome cowhide! We were looking for a cowhide to put on a large wall where we had planned to put a pair of old chaps that had belonged to my father in law, along with an old, custom made bridle, some custom spurs, etc for a complete western look. We looked at other cowhides and didn't really think they were worth the price the vendors were asking. We saw these on Amazon and decided to take our chance. Wow! We got a medium size dark brindle one and it is beautiful! I know they are sold as rugs, but I couldn't even imagine putting them on the floor. Although I've seen pictures and that also is a beautiful way to display them. I would definitely recommend these cowhides no matter what you intend to use them for. I will update this review when we hang the cowhide on the wall. It may take awhile, since the wall is directly over the stairs that go down to the playroom! We are not real sure how we are going to get up there to hang it yet!
