Quick easy ice cubes
These molds are easy to use and make nice ice cubes. They are not clear, at least not with our water. There are other systems to make clear ice. These are quick and easy. I like the round ice cubes because they fit in my "Bourbon Trail" glasses perfectly. The square cubes fit in larger doubles glasses. So, great options. I am a bit picky about my glassware. This is a re-order for me. Our hard water has built up enough that the seal for the round cubes is no longer secure. My fault, not the manufacturer. I guess I should dry them instead of allowing them to air dry after use. I like them enough to re-order. In reading the reviews, it is tricky to ensure the two sections of the round molds are tight. I push them together, then go around each round mold and push the edge seals together. Take the time, this works for me.

Cheers!
Of these ice cube trays we tend to use the mold for creating 2-inch sized cubes much more frequently than that for the spheres. Use of said cube mold is easy, straightforward: we've found placing it in the freezer, then pouring in water from a measuring cup better than trying to carry the wiggly, wobbly mold from sink to appliance. Creating ice spheres? Oh, it can be done, but it takes patience, trial-and-error. Removing the cubes from the mold takes a bit of practice, but once they are broken in a bit this becomes easier. The 2-inch cubes are the right size for drinks served in a double rocks or old fashioned glass, producing ice that provides the right dilution.

The cubes are quite large and easy to remove from the mold
The Square mold works as you would expect it to. The cubes are quite large and easy to remove from the mold. Perfectly happy with this. The Round mold is more difficult to work with. You are dealing with a mold that has two parts, a top and a bottom. Bear in mind the silicone makes this mold very flexible and buoyant. As you begin to pour water into the small holes in the tops of each mold section, you will find the water inside of the mold begins to raise the top of the mold away from the bottom part of the mold. When you try to push the top of the mold back together with the bottom part, you get spillage and less fill in the round sections of the mold. There is no mechanism by which to secure the seating of the top part of the mold with the bottom part of the mold (the instructions admonish you to make sure there is a firm seal of the mold parts...Ha). Allowing water to completely fill the cavity in the top part of the mold helps to weight the top part of the mold resulting in a better sealing of the mold halves together. Once frozen, this technique produces odd ice shapes in the cavity area of the top part of the mold which you can add to add to your ice bucket. When it is time to put this mold in the freezer, you will find it best to have the mold sitting on some sort of tray or plate, with edges, so as to keep this flexible mold flat while you are placing it in the freezer to reduce and retain any spilling water. I've not been able to produce the perfect, round ice balls shown in the pictures. I do get Saturn shaped balls (ring around the center) which are nice in their own right. However, this round mold is a bit too tedious to work with for me. I suggest sticking with the nice large square cubes for your favorite, on the rocks, beverages.

Perfect Nice Design Ice Cube Mold
I recently purchased this silicone ice cube mold, and I couldn't be happier with my choice! Here are some highlights of my experience: 1. Easy to Use: The silicone material makes it incredibly simple to fill and remove the ice cubes. No more struggling with hard plastic trays! Just fill it, freeze, and when you're ready, a gentle push from the bottom easily releases the cubes. 2. Perfect Size: The ice cubes come out to a generous size, perfect for chilling drinks without diluting them too quickly. 3. Easy to Clean: After multiple uses, I've found that cleaning is a breeze. 4. Simple and great design. In summary, this silicone ice cube mold is a must-have for anyone who enjoys entertaining or simply wants to elevate their drink game. It combines functionality with fun, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to add a little flair to their beverages!

Cube mold lasted until 2026
Two parter. The Cube mold: It worked pretty well except when you used filtered water. The cubes were solid but didn't want to release from the mold. After a while, the silicone became damaged due to the sharp ice made using the filtered water and the difficulty getting the cubes to come out, rendering some compartments unusable. Tap water was much better but the ice obviously wasn't as clear due to the impurities. Having said that, I was able to get about six years out of it. The Sphere mold: It worked OK but I don't really use it anymore. Too clunky to fill. Overall: If you're looking for "forever" molds, you might get more mileage out of them if you use tap water.

The round ice do come out perfectly round but I over filled the bottom tray on my last batch.
The ice molds are well made and very durable! I have another ice mold that is similar but it is not as solid and it spills water. These don’t. I also appreciate the communication I have received with Glacio, including directions and inquiries into satisfaction. I would definitely purchase these ice molds again and also purchase from this company.

Seriously great trays!
Seriously, people, these are great ice cube trays! I think I read every review for these and other ice cube trays before buying these. Reviewers seem to have trouble making the spheres but no problem with the squares. After trying both squares and spheres with water and other liquids, let me set the record straight. These are great trays. They are made of a heavy duty material but are soft and pliable making it easy to remove frozen cubes. For the square tray, fill just as you would a regular tray. For the spheres I closed the upper and lower trays together securely, put in an 8 by 8 inch pan and then used a tiny funnel and measuring cup to fill each sphere. Then I stacked the square tray on top of the sphere tray and put in the freezer. In case you don’t get the sphere fully filled before freezing, you can top them off once the first fill is frozen. When fully frozen just remove the top of the sphere tray and empty. It worked great with water and also with a coconut milk cream I made for Thai coffee. The squares and spheres are a perfect size - not too big but not too small. In case you need a funnel, Amazon sells TecUnite 10 pack small metal funnels for around $8. I definitely suggest putting the trays in a rigid pan to freeze as this eliminates any spillage when moving the trays. I am definitely making these ice cubes/spheres ahead of time as it takes awhile to get a lot made. Enjoy!

Very good solution for making large ice cubes
Nice product and very easy to use. Cubes came out much easier compared to other silicone ice cube trays I have used previously. Recommended.

Having a drink in style
Great product that always surprises guests in a social gathering. The ice cubes add a uniqueness to the drink, but most importantly, melts very slowly and does not dilute the drink as regular ice. Great for martinis, mixed drinks etc...
