Worth the purchase for any gm ls engine
Quality melling oil pump for l92 6.2 gm engine had an immediate increase of oil pressure on Startup and after engine warms up to operating temperature. I highly recommend for any gm ls engine definitely worth the purchase

This Pump Is Great
I had a low oil pressure issue on a 2007 Escalade. The oil pressure was too low causing the Variable Valve Timing not to work properly. This set a check engine light and Stabilitrac warning message on the dash. I chose this Melling oil pump because I've had nothing but success using their oil pumps and this time was no different. I had 6 Psi oil pressure at idle before I changed the pump. When I removed the original oil pump, it was clear the O-ring for the pickup tube was bad. I installed the O-ring that came with the new oil pump and installed the Melling pump. When I started the car, I had 65 Psi oil pressure when cold. After warming up, the pressure was 22 Psi at idle. You will see the quality of the Melling pump as soon as you take it out of the box. It fixed the VVT issue and provides plenty of oil pressure throughout the RPM range.

2007 GMC SIERRA VORTEC MAX is not maxxed out in oil pressure
Worth every penny in my opinion. Could have gone el cheapo but i love my truck. Put this in a 2007 gmc sierra vortec max 6.0. Oil pressure would start at 39 and when fully heated on idle it was at 10-15. It was horrible to see. This starts me at 64 oil pressure and idle at 39 when fully heated. When i punch it she goes to 72. Amazing. Use the biggest spring. Already put 1000 miles on it and ita holding well. Im a diy mechanic. Took me a while to install. Harmonic balancer is a pain. Went ahead and did new timing chain and tensioner and of course ac delco. If you have a gm dont cheap out. She will appreciate well made parts. Truck runs better than ever!!

I purchased this pump for a 2007 Gmc Denali Sierra w/ 6.2 l. My truck use to have a VERY low oil reading and knocked like a wood pecker. It had a rough start, and Traction control and Check engine light were on. Long story stop...installed this and ALL my issues were resolved. I changed my timing Chain also (may as well your right there). Truck is quiet and strong!!

Once again Amazon delivered a brand new un opened oil pump. Pump is perfect and flawless. Pump delivers high volume oil with orange 70psi bypass. Perfect leave it alone and install. Very happy with quality made in the USA. This is a great replacement for GM LSA/ M365 pumps it’s just anodized with a higher bypass.

Installed on 07 6.2 ls3 truck motor
Right to 55 psi at start up. engine top end is much more quieter. Bolted up perfectly. Comes with a lower pressure spring if you prefer. On my engine its 10psi at a 500 rpm idle during normal driving it is around 45psi

Awesome product. Put in my 07 Escalade with a stabilitrac and cam sensor code. Fixed the issue and sounds so much smoother on start up!
