Would prefer to not have glycerin
But it is there and it will help make your skin feel better. I just put some of this on my nose (where I have had skin cancer previously and may have it again). I put some on my hands too. And my arms (have had skin cancer there too). This does a good job at moisturizing and I will keep using it at night. I put some on my knees too. It recommends putting it anywhere that skin is dry.

Leaves Skin Smooth - Lightly Scented
A nice medium weight moisturizer that leaves skin feeling creamy smooth with no oiliness. That creamy smoothness lasts all day. Good to use over the entire body, including the face. Light enough for oilier skin but still rich enough for dry skin. I like that it contains various vitamins that are good for the skin.Tempted to remove a star for this, but it doesn't really linger which makes it not so bothersome, so the star stays. Can't say that I like the scent. It's not that strong but is definitely noticeable. Unfortunately, to my nose, it kind of smells like a bathroom deodorizer. I really only noticed it during application and maybe a few moments afterwards. Guess you could say that my real rating would be 4 1/2 stars due to the not so pleasant scent. It comes in a nice sized tube but I find the price too high for most customers. This cream is good, but I'm not sure that's it's really that good. Maybe continued use might convince me, but it's a little too soon yet to see much in the way of any major differences. Meanwhile, it does make my skin feel very nice.

meh
this is a decent body lotion but i don’t think it’s worth $40; mainly because i don’t really notice any difference between this and my other body moisturizers. if i’m paying premium prices for body lotion, i wanna see premium results. i don’t think it delivers on that and it’s why i can’t give it a better rating. if it was less expensive i’d probably give it a better rating too. sorry :(

Very nice moisturizing body cream. Light scent.
This is a pleasant skin care moisturizer, great for dry arms and legs. It has a light, vaguely citrus scent, it leaves my skin smooth, not greasy. It works well to reduce “winter itch”.I am not sure there is any benefit to topical Vitamin D so that seems a questionable point of efficacy. However this is a very nice balm for dry skin.

Love the body lotion!
I'm a body lotion and body cream and body butter lover. I love them all, but I don't actually 'love them all' - im picky about which make the cut. This body lotion makes the cut! It makes my skin feel silky smooth and absolutely does not leave that nasty funky gross residue on my hands. I despise that feeling. The scent is the only thing im not jumping for joy about. When it first comes out, the scent isn't pleasant. It smells like vanilla and it smells like the lotion has started going bad. When it dries, kt smells like warm vanilla and something else, can't put my finger on it. Its delicious though. Its odd how the scent goes from foul to lovely once dry, but it does.I have a tried and true body lotion that I will never replace with another, but this lotion comes in 2nd. They're both the same cost, so I would absolutely consider reordering this if my other brand ever did me dirty and discontinued my lotion.

Nice moisturizer but didn't really brighten up my skin much
This lightenup cream comes in a fairly generous tube and runs you about $40. It has a few vitamins in it that help reduce fine lines but also should help brighten up the skin.It has a fairly light fragrance that I do like. It is lightweight and absorbs quickly into the skin. I found it leaves no residue left behind on the skin which is great. I did not notice a significant brightening effect with this lotion though which was a bit disappointing in my eyes since that was the major claim of this lotion. It is nicely moisturizing though.

Very moisturizing, but a little greasy
This is a nice cream. It leaves my skin smooth and soft. It's a little greasy and takes a few minutes to sink in. It has a light scent, which I'm not really crazy about. It has a chemical smell, and it does lingre for a while.I'm not so sure the vitamin D does anything, which makes this expensive for just another moisturier.

Amazing lotion for dry skim
I LOVE this rejuvenating lotion with Vitamin D by Lighten Up! My hands really take a beating in the dry winter weather, as I care for my young children, washing frequently and cleaning around the house etc. My cracked and flaky knuckles need a list boost, and sometimes thick, gooey bag type balms are just a bit annoying to have to glob onto my hands when I'm busy. This lotion feels and smells great, and a little goes a long way. It is by no means an emollient cream, but it absorbs well and lasts in the skin. I also really love knowing that is contains vitamin D, which is something we can all use to combat the lack of Sunshine in Winter, as well as any illnesses that might be floating around.I deducted a star from my rating because there is really no seal on this product! I was surprised that not only was the box unsealed when I opened it, but the lotion tube also had zero protective seal inside the lid. My tube seemed untouched, but it is a little disconcerting to wonder if it has been tampered with.Otherwise, I highly recommend this lotion to you for those dry spots anywhere on your body, it works wonderfully and is a soothing treat for your skin!
