They seal them pretty well, they might send a set without certain weatherstripping pieces, if that happens tell them and they’ll send you a new set with all the pieces. The wiring is pretty cheap but gets the job done. Overall they look pretty good and get the job done

Halo LED are build in to the halo itself.

What bulb size and type of hid kit would properly function with these housings? would a 9007 bi-xenon hid kit work?

This unit take 9005 bulb size and it is possible to use HID.

Do you lose dual beam (Hi/Low) function with these housings? The factory headlights use a single 55w/65w 9007 bulb for dual functionality.

You do not lose dual beam function as it is a requirement by DOT. Even tho this unit use single filament bulb, when you switch to high beam a mechanism inside the projector remove the glare protector place out of the way to provide a full light output in the same manner as high beam.
