Carl Martin Purple Moon Fuzz Pedal

This is a true analog vibe, and gets you anywhere from a barely perceptible hint to crazy oscillations. It took me less than 5 minutes to dial in the tones from Pink Floyd - Breathe. The only downside for me is that it really strips away the bottom end (results may vary with your amp - I have a Vox tube amplifier). The fuzz on the other hand is a different story. It goes from no fuzz to overwhelming fuzz even before you move past 8 o'clock, and fuzz levels do not interact with your volume knob at all. I tried for almost a year, but eventually gave up and got a FuzzFace. That said, it is worth keeping for the vibe alone, and the fuzz adds a good touch.
