I was thrilled when I received this item and it worked great. The water immediately heated up and cook the noodles as advertised!!! I am so glad I purchased this item. I can see why this item was picked up on "Shark Tank". This is a must purchase

I bought this for my husband. He works in construction and is training to become a firefighter. He doesn't always have time to go grab a lunch, and I wanted him to be able to have hot home cooked meals. He loves it! His only complaint is that he wishes it were a bit bigger. But it works great. We went to the magic cook website and ordered a bulk pack of 50 of the heat packs- at the time, Amazon was out and it was cheaper to buy in bulk. But this little thing works great and I feel much better knowing my husband can have a home cooked meal!

Worked for a week as intended. But then i checked the materials used for the product and polycarbonate is used, which has BPA. Essentially, you're heating up plastic, which is bad, and worse if its polycarbonate which has BPA, since you'll be absorbing vapors from heated plastic with BPA. Not healthy. Also the quicklime heat pack also seems to give off its own vapors/steam to heat up the food which combined with heated plastic might be additionally unhealthy in the long term as well. Look for thermos steel food jars or the like instead and keep hot food longer, safer.

Not good for lunch food... It takes a long time to heat up... But it will do on a camping

This is a MRE style heater pack with a metal container that fits under a plastic lid. It's essentially a double boiler, just like an MRE. Neat idea, but not ground-breaking. I'm not a fan. Plus the water used for the heater is now toxic once used, do not drink.

Way too much work. Easier to go to the corner hot dog stand at lunch, concession stand at kids ball game.

This thing is amazing, you gotta try it. you cook without heat and the food comes out good, especially at my desk. How weird is that but awesome

This thing is awesome I've used it camping and at my son's Little League baseball games, cooked hotdogs and boiled water for freeze-dried food highly recommended
