Reasonable at the price
Thought I'd try one of these roll-up pianos. Selected this one as I didn't want to splash out on one of the more pricey (and presumably better) ones. What I like about this is that it has a variety of tones and rhythms and the 61 keys is plenty for me as an amateur. The keyboard does take some getting used to, but after only having this for a couple of days I can 'bash out' a basic sing-a-long tune on it reasonably well. I'd say one of the things I found is that the 'black' keys are harder to play, since you have to press them accurately in the centre, if you hit the edge, then the note does not sound. It seems to be at least 8 note polyphonic, but there's no info on this. It has a melody record/playback feature that some might find useful, and a range of built-in demo tunes, but these bear no relation to those listed in the manual! A few negative points: The sound through the built-in speaker ain't great - but then, this is a very small unit. Use headphones for practice, or connect it to an amp, though, and the sound is surprisingly good. There seems to be no means of adjusting the rhythm tempo. There is no sustain feature. The keyboard is (of course) not pressure sensitive. That is, a lightly pressed key sounds no quieter than a firmly pressed one. The unit does have a 5-pin DIN socket in it, which is just not mentioned at all in the manual! Might be a MIDI connector but I don't know as I'm not familiar with MIDI. If it is then it might be possible to use a USB adaptor with it and connect it to a computer, but I just don't know. Maybe this is a feature they added, but forgot to update the manual. It has two output jacks (3.5mm) one for headphones, one for a speaker. I used the headphone jack to connect this to a small practice amplifier, which made the sound acceptable. The main advantage of these things is they roll up quite small, and can work for a few hours on 4X AA batteries (not supplied). This one also came with a USB mains adaptor and a USB to coaxial connector lead. This is good, as it could also be powered from any USB outlet. Downside is that the batteries must be removed if using with the adaptor. The main advantage of these is they mean you can have a keyboard than can be carried in a small bag.

Good for people learning to play piano
It rolls up really small so easy to store, but rolls out on a flat surface like a table. Many settings for different instrument sounds, Amazing for such a small compact keyboard.

Delighted with it...present to me!
Bought this as a Christmas present to me having given my piano away a couple of years ago! Really pleased with it but make sure you have a table or ply wood base long enough to house it otherwise the keys don’t work that well. Sound is very realistic overall delighted with it.Great value !

Would have liked better sound but for the price -fine
Pleased enough although the sound is a bit “tinny” but it is just for myself to try and learn the beginnings at least towards learning to play. I am 80 after all !
