CAWANFLY Protective Arm Sleeves, Level 5 Protection Cut Resistant Sleeve with Thumb Hole (Black)

I’m an HVAC technician I ordered these to protect my arms when I have to replace indoor air handler blower motors. I’ve used them numerous times so far, and they have prevented cuts and scratches!

Very effective and useful

They did protect me from thorns while pruning roses and citrus trees. But they're so long and heavy they get really hot (probably great for winter--but not much pruning needed then!). My arms are thicker than most, so it was uncomfortable forcing the gloves over my elbows.

Needed for volunteer projects

One statement: One size does NOT fit all. I would love to review on how well these sleeves work; however, I am unable to. I bought them for work when I was working the frier and unloading an industrial oven that cooked 21 chickens at a time all while still serving customers. It was very much a fast paced area around the time I was working, some days I was struggling to do everything myself. As you can imagine, I have scars going down my arms from accidently hitting the hot racks holding the chicken and burns from the oil (some of them because I was an idjit who couldn'tget through their head that 350 degree oil was HOT), the worst ones I covered with tattoos so they didn't stand out too much. So, naturally I thought "Why not get some sleeves?" Now, I am a very thin, advantage height woman who has never step foot in a gym but im active enough to be able to lift a grown, slightly rounded man off the floor, I should have known a small wouldn't have fit let alone a one size. I bought these in hopes that I could do SOMETHING with them. I thought at worse I could fold them in half, right? NO! These are so big they may as well be leg warmers (which is a good idea now that it is winter time. I think I still have them tucked away). These are either ment for overly buff (or flabby if you happen to be considered overweight) dudes or someone has seriously misunderstood the meaning of one size fits all. They are nice though. The material is a little rough but I wouldn't have minded if it wasn't 2XL. I only wanted to protect my poor flesh from 2 to 3 degree burns so a little rough skin on the forearms is no biggy, especially since a tub of lotion is cheaper and easier to use than buying hospital grade burn solve and trying to bandage boiled skin on your dominant arm, because some of the burns were just that bad. So, displeased by the size and no option on the actual use of the sleeve: 3 stars. Nice and natural.

I bought these to get my anxious, very angry, bitey cat to the vet. They worked perfectly! For the first time in many years, I was able to get him into a carrier without behaving to shed blood to do it. *Edited almost a year later- so I lost the original gloves and re-ordered a new pair because that same cat had an injury and I needed to get him checked out. I put on the gloves and tried to pick him up and he both scratched and bit me. at first it was working but then his teeth went right through the fabric, cut me pretty deeply in multiple places and his back claws scratched thru it also. I’ll add a picture later, I can’t right now because I just got done cleaning and dressing the wounds, and I don’t want to have to do it all over again. Hopefully I don’t need a trip to the doctor for this but it could end up requiring some medical attention. The first pair I had last year were great and worked perfectly. Something is different now. These were not nearly as effective.

I raise rabbits and constantly get get scratches from their nails no matter how careful I am, to such a point it was making my husband upset. Got these to see if they’d prevent injuries and I’m impressed. Baby rabbits have razor sharp nails and tend to have a stronger flight response than adults who are more used to handling, this usually means some kicking and scrambling until they are settled. The sharp baby nails have cut me through jeans before, however when using these gloves I handled about a dozen babies and only got one nick, whereas I would’ve had at least four bleeding scratches. Definitely saved my hands and arms. I have also left these gloves too near a rabbit cage by accident, a rabbit pulled part of the glove through and normally would’ve shredded them but they held up with no tears or wear at all! They feel nice and cool on my arms and I have decent dexterity. Definitely a good buy if you handling a lot of rabbits!

These are not heat resistant whatsoever they are flame retardant so that means they won't catch on fire but that still doesn't stop welding slag from burning a hole through them now I'm not stupid enough to put a knife across it but they're junk and I want a full refund

Seems like pretty good quality. Haven't tested it out yet!

Estan bien, pero para clima caliente son complicadas ya que suda tu brazo muchisimo, literal te las quitas mojadas, pero. Para podar y meter las manos y brazo para retirar sr hierba en matorrales excelentes
