Q: I'm confused. A couple comments say it only folds in one place & a couple comments say it folds twice???

Folds twice. Only about 3 feet long folded up so easy to carry

Q: What is the real weight of this ramp ?

My 87 year old father can easily unfold and install this ramp, haul my 82 year old mother up the ramp in a wheel chair into the house. Situate her, go outside and easily fold up this ramp and grab it like a folding table and put it up in his store room. Weight, approx. 45 pounds. This ramp is AWESOME!!!

Q: How high would this work effectively? Need a ramp for an elderly dog to get in/out of house. It would need to go over top of 4 steps

Four steps with this ramp will be no problem. It's long enough there won't be too much of an incline

Q: can we put two together to make it longer?

Not 100 per cent sure but probably not. Hinges might not be able to handle the extra tension.
