Thank goodness this Black Opium smells more glamour than kitchen. It might even be The One. I am excited about this scent. My husband loves it (no easy feat) and said it is even better than Elizabeth and James, Black, which was my old favorite until it was discontinued. I love this scent! It does not knock me over with vanilla scent, and it smells wonderful on my clothes. I like that it is not overpowering. Glamorous fragrance.

Not great
Unfortunately, the reviews were right. I read the reviews after buying it, but then I decided to test it myself and it’s true. It’s not worth the money. The bottle is extremely small and does not smell like it should. It also does not last long.

Just buy the bottle.
TLDR: the perfume is amazing but the size is too small for the price. The scent is very dark and romantic but not so heavy that it draws in too much negative attention. It is like a musky vanilla, definitely pair sweeter. No alcholic stinging of the nose. That being said, don't buy this tiny bottle. When I say it's small, it's seriously tiny. Hardly enough liquid for a single spritz. Just skip it and buy the bottle or try buying a larger sample from another independent seller. Not worth $6.

Purse Perfume
Authentic scent based on what I smelt in Macy’s. I ordered the 3 pack initially but couldn’t wait so I ordered this one because I wanted the scent sooner. I was expecting to get less in the bottle based on reviews but it was filled to the amount seen in the ad. The photo I took was after 2 days of regular use (the YSL w the black cap). It’s a warm floral, vanilla scent that is more mature & not super girly but not old either. It’s the perfect 30s scent in my opinion.
