It works really well. Works well on wet hair, dry straight hair, but not dry curly hair. I have curly hair and it works well if your hair some type of conditioner or detangling product in your hair. The best part is the flexible bristles are molded to the base of the brush instead of beginning attached. This means your hair won’t snagged or pulled in the join of the attached part. It being one solid molded piece means doesn’t eventually fall apart or break because the glue got old, wet or from pulling through your hair.

I love these brushes for mine and my girls curly hair. I keep one in shower use during and one out to use . Works great in shower! And the design makes them easy to clean.

For my specific hair type it seemed to detangle better when dry and damp rather than fully wet. But it was very easy and virtually painless

This is an ok brush. My hair is 2c 3a, medium density. The shape makes it difficult to define curls without disturbing others. I prefer the tangle teezer or even denman 7 row.
