A great addition to this fantastic series
I'm not sure how I discovered this series, as I'm not really a "harem lit" fan, but I'm glad I did. The series as a whole has some really fun world building, interesting characters with their own motivations, and does some small explorations into morals more complex than binary. The author writes well, and the plot is nicely paced and engaging. In short, this book, like the others, is a fun, easy, fast read. Some may complain that the villains in this book lack development, I don't see it that way. While sometimes we don't get a lot of backstory concerning them, their goals, origins, etc, we get enough of a basis to understand their primary motives (essentially hedonism in one case, and world domination/species propagation in another) that it is enough to explain their decisions. To me, the author struck the right balance between detail and streamlined storytelling to make a fun reading experience.I really love the characters in the book, each is unique in their drive and their place in the world. I'm not a "furry-fan", and the short interludes into what some may view as beastiliality did not really bother me; given the characters involved and the world building, actually most of these moments seemed tender and beautiful. In closing, this book sets up what should be a fascinating conclusion to the series. I can't wait!

Fantastic set up for the final book
This book was a journey, We get to see all our characters grow, overcome, and set up for the final fight against Thomas. This book was way better then i expected 5/5 stars if you read all 4 books and have not read this one yet your not doing yourself any favors. If your a newcomer looking at this..This is not your typical harem novel it is well written, it's more then smut, the ideals the MC T-mack holds, the journey and convos everything about this series is beautiful. This book is truly a work of art. Thank you for reading my review.

5 stars truly a fine example of contextual perfection
Alot of people would say that. Certain aspect of this story are "overly cliche " and there technically right but cliches in mY experience are only undesirable when in the hands of an unskilled writer who will sloppily apply concepts and formulaic prose crafted by much superior authors and artists as a short cut to original creative work outside of very small exception artists will agree their works they publish or reveal to the public are often the disasters they failed express their intended vision of the least only. All that to say this series has flaws but also passionately written. Good job.

Heart
This series, and this volume in particular, has a lot of parts. Violence, rage, sex, penance, politics, abduction, violence, assassination, and more, but the heart of the story and what keeps it compelling is the relationships, the heart shown by the main cast and the growth those relationships drive them to.This volume gets bogged down in politics, split parties, relentless violence, and even a drawn out sex scene, but the relationships and heart are compelling and believable, able to keep attention and pull the reader along. And the ending knows that, pulling hard on heartstrings.

Great story here
This story is gamelit light, harem with monster girls and adult situations. This is book 5 in a series. If this book interests you, start with book 1; this series builds on itself, so to get full appreciation, start at the beginning. The characters continue to grow the MC Terrence Mack works toward completing his quest. Shy, Laina, Halla, Asturial, Euryale, Prada, and Mila, and the others are here with new ones -- both temporary and part of the growing cast. Plenty of action interspersed with good prose, and Marion's revenge was extremely well done. The poignant ending ala cliffhanger was misty-eyed good, too.For most of us, it takes time to write a good story, and a reader can finish it in a day or so. That's the harsh truth for both readers and writers. Even so, I'm ready for book 6. Today. So, here's me asking, Cebelius -- moah plez! Highly recommended.

Fantastic 5th book on par with the previous four great ones.
Another fantastic book continuing one of my favourite stories not just in haremlit but all genres. Cebelius' prose has to be one of the most satisfying in any book I've read. The character thoughts, the pacing, the humour and drama. I have yet to encounter a droll block of text, cheesy joke or bad writing to cause me to roll my eyes, cringe or skip pages; and that has happened numerous times in other books that I genuinely love. Even the cliffhanger was well done, and unlike other times when I would have been frustrated due to it, I actually felt sated with the book and have faith that the story will continue beyond my expectation in the next book. Bravo Cebelius, another well written tale.

A solid 5 from beginning to end
I got to say from book one I new instantly this was an amazing story and book five does not disappoint at all. Continuing the story where book 4 left of I got to say the story gets better and better we get more of what makes this book amazing, which is more character interactions and development, world building and best of all Yury gets to neration on himself. And to top it of that ending, man I just loved it, such and amazing cliffhanger. All and all 5 out of 5 with out a dubt.

Wowzer!
I laughed, I cried, I punched the air. This was so good!!! Terrence has a solution to killing the Twilight Lord but that solution is going to get him killed. The way to combat this is to split their party and have Yuri go get the sword. But what should be a short trip to a dungeon turns into a fight against impossible odds. Terrence runs into an enchantress that turns all men who gear her song into slaves and he isn’t immune. The penultimate book to this series is awesome and leaving you waiting for the final book to come out
