I purchased these for doing some cross-stitch (specifically Subversive Cross-Stitch!). Usually I'd go for a kit, but a book of fun patterns tempted me into purchasing this. There are loads of threads available on Amazon, and I went for these because the skeins are all different colours. I particularly like that they have the corresponding number on them, so if you want to use the suggested colours, you can easily identify them. My only criticism was that some of the labels had their glue oozing, so that some of the threads were stuck together. This isn't a huge deal, they're easily peeled apart, but it does make the threads ever so slightly fuzzy. Having said that, this was only maybe 10 or so out of the whole bag.
