Totally different from anything you have had before
These are special apricots. I love apricots, and actually grow my own. I eat dried fruit when mine are not in season. The problem with dried apricots is that if you get the organic ones (no sulfur) they taste like figs, not very good. And if you get the orange ones, they generally have sulfur. These have a texture sort of like freeze-dried astronaut ice cream. They crumble. Some people, not expecting that, rated these a 1 star. That is totally unfair. These are tree-dried apricots. They will always have a seed and their texture will be very dry. If you don't want to buy that, fine, but for what they are, these are the best.If you live in a cold part of the USA, consider saving your seeds and planting them (after freezing the pits for a week and then keeping them moist in the fridge for 2-3 months. No nursery sells any apricot tree this good in the USA. Maybe they will grow in your yard. They are Kandek apricots from the Ferghana valley in Kyrgystan. They are listed in the ark of taste among the best fruits in the world.I have no relationship to the sellers, but it does irk me that people downrate these based on not understanding, hurting these guys' business, when they are offering something unique and special from their own cultural background. And it is not just me - my kids ransacked my first bag and did not stop until the bag was gone. They really are that good. The sugar rating (brix) on Kandek apricots is about double any apricot you have ever eaten in the store. Keep up the good work, Arashan!

Very sweet.
Tastes very sweet, good to have with some nuts, with hot tea, or just a cold drink. Just be careful, they have pits in them, and also they're pretty hard to bite, so be very, very careful. Once you get comfortable with the fruit, it's an absolute joy.

Different type of product than is usually found on the market
This is a different type of product than is usually found on the market. Wonderful pieces of sugar. At first it seems like it's very solid. However, if you are curious and persistent, a prize awaits you :)) We really missed it when it was out of sale.

So unique
I went a little overboard and bought a whole variety of apricots. These are really unique - they're not sticky at all, almost a little bit of a freeze-dried texture to them. Really good. I have them at work for an afternoon snack, and it's really hard to stop eating them.

Excellent quality whole dried apricots at a good price.
These dried apricots with pits are awesome! You can crack the pit & extract small almonds too.Since moving to a small town, we were unable to find a good source until now.PS: I looked into what other foods this vendor had & found white mullberries (from the Balkans). We had never had mullberries before. Wow! After eating a pound in a week, we tried another vendor's larger size package (soft, chewy Turkish mullberries) - they were not as good as this vendor's crunchy Balkan mullberries.
