Works well and cleanly
This bit was purchased for a specific purpose and it did not disappoint me in how well and cleanly it worked. I'm please at how easy it was to use. I did use it in small depth increments but all in all it worked really well and left a clean smooth surface when it was done cutting to the final depth.

Not actually flat, slight cove shape
As seen in the photos, there is an ever so slight angle to the blade, not sure if it is intentional, but a straight pass will leave a coved shape without repeating tracks with overlap to correct the outcome.

Strong Bit
Large bit. Very solid. I used it on two pine slabs for flattening. Being pine is a soft wood, I expected easier cutting. Not sure how long bit sharpness would last on a hardwood.

Surprisingly good in a burly router
Been using it in a Wen 1/2" router on a router sled, flattening down slabs of pine. Haven't tried it on hard woods yet but takes some big bites out without any evident problem. Would recommend.

Great surface finish on my workbench
I used this to flatten the top of my new workbench. 7 x 2 feet of hard maple, which I took 1/32" at a time. Honestly, it cut so quickly and smoothly I could have probably been a lot more aggressive.Photo is of the finished surface after just a couple passes of the sander.

Great bit
I ordered this and a CNC bit about a year ago. I was flattening some live edge slabs to make tables. I used the CNC bit and it was ok but dulled quickly on hardwood and it is essentially useless after 3 tables. I am making another table and this bit was a champ. It cut smoothly and retained its sharpness. it performed better than the CNC bit. Unfortunately, I couldn't get it out of my extension collar so I put it in a vice and ended up chipping off one edge so I have to order another. I saw some reviews stating it cut unevenly, but that was not my experience.

Had this product in 3 days after ordering!! Very pleased with service
This bit was used for flattening a red oak slab that is being built for a river epoxy counter top ! It worked extremely well , left very few router marks that was sanded out easily! It seemed to cut when I was finishing as good as it did when I started ! For the price I’d recommend getting 1 or 2 like I did ! Worked great for me !! Never got too video it being actually used , but it made short work of my project!!
