New Barsony Desert Sand 6 Position Ambidextrous Pancake Holster for 2" Snub Nose Revolvers

I am left handed. For my m&p bodygaurd s&w revolver...this doesn’t work for left handed draw. Firearm has a barrel release on the top which interferes with drawing it out of this particular holster. Fabric edge catches on the release and - well- that’s not safe/good. Unfortunately I got around to trying it quite a ways after buying it so I probably cannot return it. I also just don’t like how it doesn’t seem to sit in there deep and solid. I plan to get a holster with a hard case.

Holster is high-quality construction, Taurus 617 fits well in it (though the barrel does extend out a little more than desired) and it feels good on the strong side hip.This would have been a 5-Star review except ....I can't draw the revolver from the holster when I'm wearing it. Trouble is my Taurus 617 revolver's cylinder sticks/hangs up on the piping at the top opening of the holster making it impossible to properly draw the revolver from the holster in right (strong) side carry. I've tried making several different adjustments to the Velcro retention strap with no success. I do like the holster's quality, comfort and fit, but can't have any use for it if I can't draw the revolver from it. I didn't want to have to return the merchandise, but had to do so as I couldn't make it work properly. YMMV, and I hope it does.

I bought this holster for my 2 inch 357 revolver. I liked the color the fact that it was made of canvas. But, trying to draw my revolver from the holster is a huge issue. It always gets hung-up on the trim around the opening. I have soaked it in water and put my revolver in it while it dry's. (I wrapped the revolver in plastic first). Still it is not working out. I am keeping the holster as it does hold my other semiautos without issue. But please don't order it for a revolver that you intend to carry for self-defenses.

Great fit also fits the bersa 380

My revolver fits snuggly in the holster as it should, but tends to get hung up a bit on the seam by the hammer when I draw. This make a smooth draw impossible. The snap strap is somewhat difficult to snap in place. That being said I still believe this is a well made nylon holster despite those minor flaws. I would prefer a nice leather holster and will get one eventually for daily carry but this will serve as a decent range holster.

I rarely give a bad review I didn't like this holster the snap strap was difficult to snap and unsnap. The holster material bunched up. Nothing like a good leather holster. When U tried to return it they did it had to be in new unused condition. How can you tell if you like it or not if you don't try it. So it's sitting in a drawer. I would definitely not recommend recommend this holster.
