Product Quality & Performance
It took me a little while to review it I know, but I wanted to have a chance to use it, charge it, clean it to be fair in my review: It is a great product. Very close shave, smooth, low noise, fast charge and keeps it for a while, it traveled for a week and it was still charged upon return. FYI, I had replaced by old F4790 model which they do not longer make and zero replacement parts and, this model seem the best option: It Was. Also, the price is a Remington price: Very affordable and lower than competition.

Very reliable, long lasting charge, quality results.
I bought this shaver in 2014 and am still using it today! So reliability is top notch! The closeness of the shave is very good - very close to what you get from a razor if you follow 2 simple routines;1. Remove the shave head regularly and clean the blades with the included small brush.2. Every few years (or anytime it gets damaged from a drop, etc.) order replacement blades and shave head from Amazon. The new parts are easy to install. The shave time or period between charges is about 2 weeks. The design fits well in the hand and give you a quick, painless shave.Honestly I can tell the difference between this shaver and standard razor, but no one else can. It’s also great for travel.

In the words of Victor Kiam..."It shaves a close as a blade!"
This electric razor offers excellent performance at a great price. Here’s a breakdown of its strengths and weaknesses:Pros:Outstanding shave qualityExceptional value for moneyCons:The pop-up trimmer could use improvementPlease exercise caution when shaving around your neck or other sensitive areas, as it may cause minor irritation. To minimize this, it's helpful to map the direction of your whisker growth and consider using a pre-shave product.I already own a Braun Series 9 (which I love), but while browsing on Amazon, I discovered this razor and decided to buy it. I shave every other day, and I can confidently say that Remington's shave quality is impressive. I would have rated it a 5 out of 5 if it weren't for the less effective pop-up trimmer. In summary, if you're looking for a budget-friendly electric razor that provides a great shave without costing a lot of money, consider trying this Remington.

Excellent shaver, clean, no burn, no pulling
I'm retired and don't shave every day, and even then I mostly use my hair clippers (with no attachment) to buzz off the length. I tried this shaver with at least a 1/4-inch growth, and it easily gave me a clean shave with no pulls at all, and no burn or irritation afterwards. I ran it in a straight line, just up and down, no circular motions like the product guide suggests. Didn't need to, even on my tough old facial hair. This Remington Foil Shaver is better than my old Remington rotary (which I never liked to use because of the irritation and pulling) and far better than the $40 rotary shaver I recently bought and returned. And cleaning is easy enough.I won't wait 3 days to buzz or shave any more because using this shaver is so quick and easy. So now the only question is how long the blades will last.

Excellent item, easily cleaned, close shave
I have zero complaints about this shaver. The shave time and recharging times are quick, and I've been using mine for 5+ years without a single hiccup. The electric razors with rotating blades are impossible to clean, while this takes me about 20 seconds to clean using just an old toothbrush. Excellent item.

Know What You're Buying
I am a minister, so I try to keep clean shaven as best as I can. I've tried every kind of razor and shaving product under the sun (disposable razors, safety razors, straight razors). I have sensitive skin, and shaving with anything other than an electric razor every day wreaks havoc on my skin. I have been using electric razors for about 10 years now. I have had 2 Remingtons, 2 Norelcos, and 1 Panasonic. 1 Norelco and the Panasonic were high-end razors, the others were mid to low level razors. My facial hair is pretty thick and grows quickly. Know that electric razors do not shave as close as a manual razor (which is ok with most people) and so you will have to shave everyday if you want to stay smooth. The only reason I purchased this razor was because I accidentally dropped and broke a piece of my Panasonic that was irreplaceable. On to the razor:AESTHETICS: This razor is fairly nice looking. Not as sleek as some high end models, but that doesn't really matter. It's pretty heavy and feels sturdy. It's a lot wider than most of the other razors I've ever handled but I actually like that.POWER: This is the biggest strength of the razor to me. Man it will cut through any thickness of facial hair.NOISE: It is noisier than other razors I've had, but that may not be an issue for you.SPEED: Due to it's power, it shaves very quickly.COMFORT/SHAVE QUALITY: This is where I was disappointed. After using this razor, my face was severely irritated for the next few hours. To make things worse, the shave wasn't as close as what I was used to with my Panasonic ES8243. After all of the positive reviews, I was kind of disappointed.IF YOU READ ANY OF THIS REVIEW, PLEASE READ THIS! The reason I titled this "know what you're buying" is because this is a GREAT razor if:- You have thin, smooth facial hair- Can get away with shaving less often- Are on a budgetIf any of those apply to you, this is the razor to get! I do honestly believe for the money it is a good razor. If you are used to higher end models though, you will be disappointed. If you have thick, coarse, fast growing facial hair (and sensitive skin), I'd go ahead and spend the extra money and get a nicer razor because this one is pretty rough on your skin (and I know because I've had other models that leave no irritation). I ended up returning this razor and opted for another Panasonic after debating between it and the Braun Series 7.
