Saved me some money of garage diagnostics
This is a great ODB II dongle that connects well with my Android phone using the bimmer-tool app (I use this in a BMW) but other apps are available that cover different brands of cars. Some free and some paid. The dongle connects easily to the car and the phone. Using the bimmer-tool app (sold separately) I was able to read and clear error codes, watch live data from the cars components and compare actual vs expected values on things like Air Mass, Throttle position, Turbo actuation etc as well as schedule a DPF regenerationAll this functionality does come from the app and not the dongle itself but the dongle connects easily and maintains a stable connection even whilst driving when I took the car for a drive and left the unattended app collecting live data.It is important to maintain a stable connection because an unstable connection can cause problems if you lose signal during an operation i.e. clearing codes or coding an option to the ECUThis has already saved me some money in diagnostic fees given that many garages charge between £50-80 for a scan

Works well with astra j 2.0 cdti
I use this handy device with the Scanmyopel CAN app. It costs 3 quid per month but works great to see live data and erase codes.I couldn't get the test operations to work but the code reading and live data is what I needed it for anyway so worked as I needed. It's great as I've been having the SVS warning with a high fuel pressure warning. The device and app allows you to see data such as fuel pressure in real time and pin point faulty conditions. The device comes in a protective case. And feels well made.Very good value for price. I also want to note that one garage couldn't even pick up a code that this device, with the app, picked up on.

An excellent choice for wireless coding!
I purchased this OBD2 scanner for customising some of the features on my BMW F36, as I had read about it being compatible with the Bimmercode mobile app. Veepeak’s website has a comprehensive list of compatible mobile apps for different makes and models. The scanner itself comes in a small plastic case with foam inside to prevent any damage. Using the scanner is as easy as can be, simply plug it into your car’s OBD2 scanner port and connect (in my experience, the connection is normally done in-app).As previously mentioned, I have used the scanner to write to my car with Bimmercode and I have also used it with the GaragePro app to read fault codes and it works exceptionally well. For the price, I don’t think you’ll find another scanner with the same capabilities anywhere else. I highly recommend it.

Great little Gadget
So i bought this as it was in the sale and being a bit of a petrol head thought it might be worth a buy.I connected it to my car and downloaded the OBD fusion app - this app does cost £9.99 but its well worth it for all its features.I went in a drive and its brilliant - provides literally everything you could ever want.Set up was incredibly easy on my iphone - dont connect via bluetooth just go into your chosen app and it should auto connect.I used it on a family members car as they had an error code, it detected no errors which helped us figure out that the reason the error was on the dash wasnt a mechanical failure but that the clock had not been sent - why mini feels the need to put a warning on the dash when its purely just the time i dont know but either way this saved a rather embarrassing trip to our local garagex

iOS Compatible
Works well with my iPhone and OBD Fusion app. Definitely a step up from my generic wired obd code reader. Now I can see live data and custom dashboard which is helpful when driving a mazda diesel.

Works well, limited features
Works well haven’t had any connection issues, only issue is in Bimmercode there are certain modules it can’t access and claims that this OBD reader isn’t compatible with certain modules, usually the big modules. Am currently returning and going to try the VeePeak OBDII+ instead of the normal one (this one).
