Q: Will this work with a Zildjian L80 Hi hat cymbal?

This will not add a trigger to the L80. This is just a replacement to the a footpedal hihat controller, that allowa to use a normal high-hat stand. You would need to pickup a second piezo to mount on the L80 to use them in conjunction with this controller.

Q: Will this work with an Alesis Strike Pro kit?

It's meant to work with Roland modules and therefore is not compatible with Alesis as they use different resistance and connection types.

Q: Will this work with a carlsbro csd500?

If it uses a pressure switch pedal then yes.

Q: Will this work for a Roland TD-12?

If it is made for Roland . By that I mean that they make two variations- one for Yamaha and one for Roland. Check to see which one it was made .
