Fake
Found out it was after InForce sent out a buyer beware post on one of their social media accounts.

FAKE!!!
As others have said in the review section before me...Buyer BEWARE...This item is not an authentic Inforce APLc. This was easily determined by the following factors: 1.) Zero MFG paperwork 2.) Cheap unlabeled packaging 3.) shotty texture on the light paddles 4.) Crooked and falling off Enforce sticker on the side of the light 5.) MOST IMPORTANT: The operation of the light is wrong. It should be tap for momentary-on and tap/hold for constant-on. This light operation is total different. You have to manually switch through the two modes by holding down on the light for 2-3 sec. This is not proper function for this light. DO NOT BUY.

WAS NOT AUTHENTIC
Item I received was not authentic in the least. Branding and packaging was all wrong. The light functioned and was very bright, however I suspect it would not hold up to the jarring it would receive upon shooting the weapon it should be mounted on. I don't know if all products shipped from this buyer/link are knock-offs but I wasn't going to find out.

Received a fake aplc.
Received a fake aplc, the fakes come in a black case, not inforce packaging. No battery, no patent stickers, bad inforce forgery, and different stippling.

Chinese knock off
These are Chinese knock offs. Not in manufacturers packaging. Came in a cheap black plastic box, Inforce label on light wasn’t even centered. I just read through some reviews and others are experiencing the same junk. Returning in the morning.

and think this light is great. It doesn't chuck out a ton of lumens
I've had mine on my G19 since they've become available here. I carry all day, everyday, everywhere I go, and think this light is great. It doesn't chuck out a ton of lumens, so there's the obvious compromise, but the beam is fairly focused, and if you were to shine it directly in somebody's eyes at a realistic defensive distance, it won't be pleasant for them. Regardless of "blinding power" it's still MORE than enough actual light to do its job of improving situational awareness/PID for the majority of plausible situations that could require a WML.I personally like the APLc controls, and prefer them over all others for *concealed carry*, including the XC1 - which is more than double the price, for ???? reason - definitely not because "it's a Surefire." (I sent mine back twice in 6 months; once because the switch ripped off snagging my shirt in a class, and another because it just randomly stopped working). And generally, I'm a big fan of Surefire products, just not with their compact WML. Anyways, I used my APLc through two low-light classes, from concealment, plus ~2500 rounds over the last 3 weeks, plus countless dry fire reps, and have yet to ND the light (something that happens occasionally with something like a TLR-1), or break it.Compared to a larger WML, being much smaller, and lighter weight, meaning the holster is smaller, weights less overall, becoming more comfortable, ultimately meaning it'll likely be carried more frequently (like, all the time) - which is always a good thing - easy compromise over a larger WML, in my opinion. Duty/open carry, I have no problem with larger WML's for more light, and own a number of them. I'd like to see the next generation APLc have more lumens with similar focus, even if it has to sacrifice a little battery life.Bottom line, the APLc has it's place. For me, it's normally a EDC. I'm very rarely concealed carrying something larger or smaller than a G19, and there's really no reason to not leave the APLc mounted to it 24/7.

Five Stars
Fits perfectly, the color matches, it sits flush with the barrel and it stays put. What more could my Gun OCD ask for? It's just enough brightness for my night stand Glock 19. It also fits my Sig P320C like a glove and thats a big plus.

Looks Slick
I've already put about 100 rounds through my G19 with this guy attached, and it hasn't budged. The lens doesn't get super coated in residue either, but that is mostly the type of ammunition you're putting through your gun. The "tabs" to turn the light on and off are easy to use and don't require much fine motor skill - they also have a very rough texture to aid you in finding them in the dark.My only suggestion is to make sure you have the "lens cap" part tight as possible - I noticed one day that the light didn't turn on, and it was because the lens cap loosened a bit. They advertise this as a feature to "turn off" the light for storage, but I'd caution that it might find itself "off" when you need it on more than ever. It hasn't come loose again since I ensured it was tight. And almost as important, it looks amazing on a Glock 19. This light looks like it was made for the Glock, and doesn't stick out or have awkward controls. Pretty bright too, about on par with my other pistol lights.
