I've used this CAM-boot cover twice already, once at the beach and once in the woods. It is an excellent product for protecting your injury from dirt and debris outdoors. It is equally useful indoors: wear it during the day, take it off at bedtime and your bedding stays clean while your foot stays protected. It is made of very sturdy material. It is non-skid, very secure-feeling. . . . . Minor improvements (see photos): Make one end more sock-shaped to give the toe extra protection from moisture and debris. Attach a lace near the middle so the boot can be closed over the instep, again to keep dirt and stuff from falling inside. (I made an extra "lace" to go above my ankle since I plan on a lot of exercising outdoors.) [Edit: Today I carefully stepped into about an inch of water in a tidepool and examined the seam when I got home; no moisture at all! This doesn't mean it's waterproof, but it's surely water-resistant even at the seams.]

Easy to put on, but a little bit loose. Sewed three loops of velcro and used a piece of paracord to tie the cover a little tighter.

I like these for thereNon skid protection. Wish they had some sort of fastener at the top to keep them from sliding around. I attached a piece of elastic and a button. Takes repeated washings well.
