I seldom do reviews because many product's results cannot be proved. However; in the last 2-3 years I have discovered the benefits of this cream. I live in the country and insects seem to like me, but this cream quells the insect bites amazingly, especially those bites that get inflamed during the night and you scratch and scratch..., I also discovered when my horse gets some bites from deer flies on his chest, this helps him too. And, last but not least, my german shepherd who is up in age, gets these carbuncles on one foot and I cleanse it (from his constant chewing) with warm water, dry and apply this salve and it immediately, soothes him. I would never use anything else, it replaces witch hazel also. Good product!!

I have a scientific and medical background, and this product actually does work. The key is to apply it as soon as you can to the insect bite. You have to avoid scratching the bite before and right after applying it. It still works but not nearly as well if you have already started the inflammatory cascade at the site of the bite. Its not like an antihistamine or cortisone cream. It does not work that rapidly. Also it will burn if you have scratched an area a lot or have opened the skin.

Originally bought this product several years ago on the road to Hana in Maui, HI. Stopped to look at a cave and mosquitoes had a mass feeding on my legs. This gel worked and since then I've used this product every time I get a bug bite anywhere. It stops the itching fast so I don't keep touching and scratching the bites. An application lasts for a couple hours. Just reapply when the itching starts up again. Hard to find in drug stores or pharmacies.

This is a great product. I am from Northern Minnesota and now I am in North Florida. I wish I had this when I lived in Minnesota, but am so happy I have it now. You put in on the bite and in about 5 minutes you no longer even remember you were itching or had a pain. It really is amazing.

This stuff is miraculous! I am one of those people who mosquitos and fleas find irresistible. Bites itch for days; they get red and swollen and I end up with scars ... But this product really, really works! Especially if I put it on right away. I keep applying any time they start to itch, and usually the bites fade away quickly, and they don't itch anymore after the first day. If you HATE itching, please give this a try! It really works!

Excellent Product! I was pruning and not wearing a long sleeve shirt. A juniper bush attacked me! My arms were red and stinging. My neighbor came to the rescue with this product. I worked immediately! I've purchased this amazing gel and keep it near our yard equipment. I've used it for insect bites too and it works great. It not only takes away the itching and sting right away - there was no rash the next day.

I get bitten ALL.THE.TIME. Seriously... My husband can be right next to me and I will get 5 bug bites and he will have none. They LOVE me. This product has always worked well for me to reduce the itching. The smell isn't bad either. I make sure to have a tube handy at the beginning of each summer, and carry it with me for mid-day applications. Works GREAT!
