The LC-1 Delivers!
I have played golf for over 50 years, was a golf instructor for over 15 years, and have tried many devices on a personal level and an instructoral level to enhance the playing experience. Some devices were rather useless, some were helpful, or somewhat helpful, but I feel this simple device is superior to any other golf device that I ever used. Is it expensively made, no, but it doesn't have to be, it will teach you things about the golf swing that would cost a lot more in golf lessons to understand. I mean, just the arm position, itself, when put on correctly which is simple to do, is a fundamental that will help your swing, immensely. It helps you to understand width in your arms in the backswing, and it even provides you with feedback when properly going through the ball on the downswing. Quite frankly, I was skeptical in the purchase of the LC-1, but I liked the concept, and it delivers. Personally, I think it is a great teaching or learning tool, and after 55 years of playing this game, and suffering and seeing other suffer, I think it has great potential to help many golfers to understand a most important part of the golf swing that is easier to feel than being told.

Works as intended even if pricey.
As another reviewer pointed out, there is no more than $29.95 worth of hardware there. So, the question becomes : " a golf lesson is $80 bucks, is this thing worth a golf lesson with a pro" ?I would say , yes, it is worth it. Even though the device feels a bit clunky, even if the bungees pinch your flesh after a few swings, the trainer gets the point across... to me, a 20 handicap who suffers from constant 'over the top swing woes, this is a valuable help. having the trailing arm staying stuck against the body and pushing towards the leading arm, with an audible click when you push right... yes it helps, and the results are immediate. All in all, I know I should have waited for the Taiwanese to come up with a $20 knockoff, but I am glad I bought it .revisiting this review one year later... I still use the LC-1 regularly, albeit with long sleeves to avoid the hurt. My teaching pro hates it for the large swing but recommends it for putting, of all things... But he does not have a gut problem. Several of my friends with a large girth have taken to the LC-1 because it helps them maintain posture through the swing... something unexpected.

Well-designed, lighter and stays on better vs competitive products
I bought this to compare against the Perfect Connextion because it has the added bungee straps that holds the device against your arms or thighs.LC-1 stays in place better than Perfect Connextion and has more finer adjustments. Ultimately I decided to return it because I already have a device that does almost exactly the same thing.I will compare the two devices below and the pros and cons are for the LC-1:Pros- bungee straps to keep device in place- finer adjustments (twisting)- “click” on downswing if you are working on that drill- lower cost for the productCons- built out of mostly plastic material, so long term durability may be lower. But this is only an observation. I do think the product is built well to last- adjustments requires you to remove the device as you need to twist it to adjust sizeOverall, like most devices, it’s useful to practice and train on a regular basis. I find it helpful to keep my knees and legs quiet (bracing just above the knees). I did not find the arm bracing and click worthwhile for my practice.Ultimately, it will be depending on an individual’s swing but the device is useful to keep arms/legs at a specific distance without collapsing.

Does What the Makers Claim.
I have bought a lot of golf aids over the years in the pursuit of consistent ball striking. This devices surpasses all but my Trackman! If you struggled with keeping the right elbow in this product really works. I have a tendency to let my elbow point out which usually means my ball strike starts right. With the LC-1 attached my shots consistently started down the target line. This product does what it claims to do. I do not like the elastic bands that secure your arms. The adjuster slips to easily in use. I had to find the fitting that worked for me and tie a knot in the elastic to keep the tension constant. The makers could improve this in my view. Also pricey for a plastic item but if it builds the correct muscle memory for a consistent swing it will be worth it.

Not an effective training aid
Save your money for golf lessons. This training aid was ineffective in correcting my swing deficiencies. Flimsy material.

seems to work for those of us without power in the golf swing
I found the LC1 easy to fit and understand. In a short time, I was making full swings. The light construction materials used for the LC1 make it fairly unobtrusive, surprisingly so. I have used many swing trainers. (Which says a lot about my golf game.) This product seems to be the first that seems to prevent the over the top move at the source, which is at the start of the downswing. As a bonus, I am finding that a weight shift and forward hip motion are naturally occurring.

good training aid to warm up and get you in right position
I really enjoy this training aid because you can use it on the range and get feedback. it helps to keep you in position and help with hip rotation. the quality is fair and worth more than getting a lesson.
