First - note that this is just for the car latch system - you have to buy the pet carrier separately. The pet carrier this goes with - the Jet Setter - does in fact have flaps on both sides that roll up.

Q: Does this attached to newer cars’ safety seat fixtures?

Dear Customer, this item was discontinued by the manufacturer. Any units still available most likely do not meet newer car standards.

Q: What is the installation process? Is it easy to uninstall and move if needed?
