Very nice looking addition to my Jeep TJ. Kinda hard to get tight so it doesn’t turn. It comes with 3 set screws to tighten it but they are going into the plastic bushing. I may have to get some longer set screws so they will go all the way through to the shaft

Could not use as shift knob was assembled with a wrong length brass screw. It would not tighten up correctly when installed.Looked like correction would have been shorter screw or cut down length. I returned the shift knob as I could not make it work. A real shame as it looked very good. I would rate as NO stars

Really added to the sporty look of my 5 speed!

Works great for my 1996 Ford Ranger the ring does cover the bolts but who cares it's the only one that I could get to fit the huge 16mm shifter rod

The feel

Decent product. Feel apart when I first put on. Just needed to be tightened before putting on. Otherwise I like it!

I originally was happy with this purchase. However, without warning this item fell apart while shifting under normal operation. My return timeframe expired just 3 days prior. I do not recommend this item. Sad.Update. I managed to repair this so I upgraded my rating to 3. Before installing. Look inside of the mounting hole. Ensure that #3 Philips head set screw is torqued down. The base is aluminum, so don't over torque. Otherwise a nice product.

Make sure to put Red or Blue loctite on the main screw inside the shifter. If you don’t , the shifter will easily come apart. Other than that the shifter is great and has a good feel.
