Sturdy, awesome connector
A high quality cable indeed. Im blown away with how good these are. I run sound for multiple church regional events. Last year, the Pastor in charge of supplying the hard ware bought some cables locally, absolute garbage those. Loose cables, bad conductors, horrendous quality...Fast forward a year and he agreed on how bad those were. He paid about 9 dollars per cable... complete rip off. Found these and he said no at first because "Online parts are never worth the wait, and are most likely worse then locally." After serching for another place to buy XLRs, the cheapest cable he found was 7 to 8 dollars each and the same style as the first ones he bought...But these, at about 5 per cable and miles better. The connectors hold tight, lock tight, and not a single signal issue. Pulled the trigger and got the best bullet in the bunch.

Decent quality cables for a good price.
The short: economic cables that functions better than you think. The bad reviews must have been from customers who had gotten faulty cables that didn't pass inspection so they contribute that experience with ALL cables from this brand. Any cable will make noise if you stomp or drop them. Needing a modest working XLRs shouldn't cost as much as bass strings. Four for $30 is perfect. The long: I don't usually need or use XLR cables, but it is always smart for a musician, especially for a bassist or drummer, to have a few spares in the event your other band members have bad ones or forget their's (as well as XLR to 1/4'' adapters for those situations). After reading the BAD reviews I decided to take the leap and purchase the 4 pack. I have no idea what others expect for this price at around $7.50 each ($30/4=$7.50). ANY cable will make noise if you treat it like The Lone Ranger cracking a whip or Melissa McCarthy stomping on them. Each one fit and released perfectly on my mics, direct outputs and PA heads with no loose pins and none got stuck. If you place cables in good locations so you don't trod upon them you will not get feedback or noise. If you think you're like Mick Jaggar and spazz out on stage get a $100 chord so you can feel like a professional.I always take four 1/4'' cables and two XLR cables with 1/4'' adapters with me to every rehearsal and gig. To compare, I purchased a 10' Roland XLR for the 2/3s the price of these four 25' ones. While it's much thicker it has the same exact results. I whipped and stomped on them like a knucklehead and they both made noise but the Roland made less. The Roland is used for my recording interface and my preamp so their is the need for quiet cables. For live applications these do fine, which are used for my band. If ones malfunctions I can get another pack for the same price as getting one from a GC (Home Depot for musicians) or Sam Ash (love them). For an extra bit of extra opinion: while touring opening for Built To Spill they told us economic cables are they "way to go" and they operate the same way. Given their style it might not matter. My current band is overly clean and polished and we all shower and groom ourselves. Especially us bearded guys. After years of electronic feedback BtS produced I would agree, but I had never seen them whip the chords... maybe Brett Netson did a bit.

Great value
Great value for a pack of 4. Seem perfectly fine for my home studio. I don’t know how they would hold up over many road gigs.

Great value!
These cables were a great value for me! I do occasional sound recording at my church (and other venues), so I needed versatile and inexpensive XLR cables to connect my microphones to my recorder - because these would be for occasional use, and paid for by me, the two main criteria for purchase were that they must work great (reliable and durable) but also won't break my budget. These cables were exactly the ticket! The quality of the connectors and shielding is very good, the recordings sound great with no noise added, and they are really affordable!Later on I plan to get the 50' and 100' cable sets from the same company (to be able to add flexibility to my mic location choices in the churches and music halls).

My XLR cables
The XLR cables I ordered was what I wanted. They work out great. I needed them to move a receiver box out of my sound room to make my cordless mikes work better.

Well worth it in my opinion
Just used them the day I'm writing this review they work great no issue comes to mind they feel of quality and sound like mic cables haha, didn't put to much into the durability and sturdiness up top because only time will tell I'll resubmit a review if they crap out to soon.
