Wasn't sure what exactly was wrong with my dryer. No heat. Thermal fuse was good, dryer is cleaned regularly and no build up in the pipes. This whole kit was cheaper than a service call, so replaced the heating element and thermostat that's included, and dryer is running great. Ran several cycles.

Went downstairs to find my dryer not.. drying. Tumbling just fine, but no heat. After some quick research I found this part to be compatible (check via the model number inside the door) and ordered it. While I waited, I removed the bottom cover, pulled out the old coil and found it snapped midway through. I also found an insane amount of lint buildup. Honestly not sure how a fire hadn’t already started. It was incredible. Do yourself a favor, check this area every couple of years even if your dryer isn’t broken.The part arrived, and was fairly easy to replace. Many models actually just slide out with tension clips. The metal housing on mine needed to be fully removed. Not a big deal, just different than most. Anyhow, everything matched up beautifully to the original. I didn’t use the other thermostat and sensors and instead kept the original.After everything was back together, I fired it up and voila! Heat!Long story short. This worked great for an HE3 with a bad coil. It shipped blazingly fast and installation was relatively easy. Save some money and grab this. Assuming it holds up as long as the original, it deserves 5 stars.

Had my fingers crossed hoping it was the right part. Work perfectly. Great price.

Took out the old one. Replaced it and it works. Not to difficult to replace. Just time consuming while working on the floor.

Fit great and brought my dryer back to life. Excellent value for the cost.

I ordered this kit in October 2024 and installed it immediately. It came as a kit with other parts and I only used the heating element. Dryer stopped heating May 1, 2025. It cost me $30. It lasted 6 months. With the labor involved replacing it, it’s not worth the trouble. I immediately ordered an OEM one for $66. A close inspection could tell no difference between the two but I certainly hope the OEM one lasts longer. I’m spending a few more bucks for the OEM part from now on. Especially for parts that take lots of labor.

Perfect kit. This is a DIY project for a non professional but is very doable. Find help on You Tube and you save a bunch of money. The heating element which is the large part with the coils is the main part that has broken 3 Times in 18 years of owning . Big help 5 plus stars
