Interactive books
These are the most impressive set of books I've seen in a long time. If you haven't bought these I highly recommend it. Start with Press Here. My 2 yr old granddaughter was in awe of this book. I have just purchased rest of this series for her Christmas

Fun and entertaining
Our Great Grandson loves to scribble circles and other 3-year-old-type art work. :) This book should last him for years.

Simple and yet, tons of fun
With dots, curves and squiggly lines, these pages invite to hours of doodling fun.Starting with a simple, very large dot, the activities increase in detail, little by little. Every page invites kids to do something specific: draw little dots on little dots, connect two dots of the same color with loops, or draw loops. The directions might appear overly simple, at first, but imagination doesn't need much help before it sprouts. The book is 'illustrated' in three basic colors—yellow, red and blue— and the images are very simple. Little artists won't feel overwhelmed, and older ones soon rediscover how easy it is to grow complex despite initial simplicity. Important hand movements like circles and lines work as the basis to each activity—a great way to train those fine motor skills. And the book is thick. Which means tons of fun, especially if siblings or others are involved. Even older 'kids' will enjoy the directions and scribble a little here and there. While it did come across as a little too simple to us in the beginning, we were caught up in the exercises quickly. I plan on still sneaking a couple more pages in as my kids fill the rest of the book.I received a complimentary copy and we've enjoyed this from the day it arrived.

Sadly, not very creative.
There is open ended activities, and then there is just filling up enough pages to make a book. This one is the, sadly, the latter of the two.Activities like, draw loops around these dots... Next page: draw more loops... Next page: Even more loops!I'm cool with open ended stuff ... But this just got boring very quickly.Conversely, we also bought "Don't let the Pigeon finish this activity book", and it was a complete blast and total enjoyment. Creative, thoughtful, funny and full of a large variety of activities. My son is five years old, as a reference point.

I appreciate me a great children activity book...
Nothing to complain about here. Have fun, Get out of your normalcy. Learn to grow and let live. Relax and bond with your thoughts. Herve book is great. Let your kid do the activity, close your mouth and keep it shut after you read the instructions unless they ask you a questions. (this goes for the judging minds). This book is giftable. Let you kid draw as many circle, line, etc as they want.
