Works well
Great grip and fairly easy to use. Really sharp to so it cuts right through the nails with out having to use any pressure. In case you were wondering I was using it on a green cheek conure and the diameter of this clipper fits her nail size perfectly. Highly recommend.

Makes Nail Trimming a Breeze!
I have 4 cats, 2 of which are not fans of nail trimming (unfortunately, these are the 2 with the sharpest claws). We'd been using a nail trimmer that we bought at some store for a few dollars, assuming that just like human nail clippers, it's a pretty basic tool and therefore relatively inexpensive. These trimmers worked, but it was difficult to get the angle right, especially with cats who were being fussy to begin with.Well, one of my cats started to develop some super curled claws and she was getting stuck on everything! Carpet, her bed, my bed, my clothes- basically anything she stepped on. She was even getting her plush toys stuck to her paws when trying to bat them around. So I did a little research and found these clippers. Figured it was worth a shot and boy was it! These are so much better than the cheap pair we were using! The blade is sharp and the handles make it so much easier to use. We are now able to trim claws quickly with a nice clean cut and minimal fuss! Before they know it, all their nails are trimmed and they are ready to run full speed across the house for whatever reason they do that.

Great for cats
Works great for trimming kitten and cat nails! No need to spend more money when these work perfectly. This was my first time trimming pet nails. I recommend watching a bunch of YouTube how-to videos first if you're inexperienced. (My tips for a crazy, psycho cat: Give cat wet food with water to distract it for a while at a table/desk or somewhere comfortable for you to sit. Hold cat's paw and gently push from below to let claws out. Trim just a little at first to gain cat's trust; next time trim more. Make sure to never trim the quick, aka the pink flesh which you can see thru the clear claw part. Have stiptic powder on hand just in case you do to cut too far to clot the bleeding; thankfully, I have never needed my powder. It's ok if you can't trim all the front and back nails fast enough before cat wants down; just do the rest later. Don't force your cat to get its nails trimmed; if they don't like it, just stop and try again later. My cat will sometimes get down and walk away multiple times because he doesn't want nails trimmed, but he always comes back right away because he wants the "special" food, which I only feed him when trimming nails.) Hope this helps!

Nice
I've used these a few times now on our 2, 6-month-old kittens (brothers). The curved blade took a bit of getting used to since I had used straight blades with other cats, but once I made the adjustment, I definitely like these better. The material on the handle keep the clippers firmly in my hand and I feel like I have total control over them. Very nice!NOTE: A trick our vet used the one time she did a complimentary nail trim has been a game-changer. It takes two people, but have one person sit down, holding the cat with its bottom on the lap and supporting it under the arms, facing outward (cat's back to your belly). Then with the other hand, hold a bowl or plate of wet cat food slightly above their head so that they extend their head upward (and out of your way) to eat. The other person does the toe nail clipping. Works like a charm for our kitties and makes the entire experience fast and stress free.

My cat trusts me with these nail clippers.
I could hold them easily and they were not so big that I couldn't see what i was doing. Plus my cat sat on my lap long enough to have her claws trimmed.

Works on small dogs!
I was a bit concerned after I ordered these clippers and then noticed someone respond to a questioner stating it was a waste of money using on small dogs nails. Then, when I received the package, I thought the advertisement was a little misleading because the packaging states small animals, no mention of dogs. These clippers are small and they do look like they'd only be good on cats, birds and smaller animals. However, they worked beautifully on my 17 pound Yorkie mix's nails. Especially his dew claws! The other pair I have for small dogs are plier like clippers which I have, are difficult to maneuver & use with those nails. The blades on these new clippers are large enough to clip my small dog's nails as promised. I'm very pleased with my purchase. FYI, it does come with a small nail file, even though the advertisement didn't mention it. It's not tough enough to file the dog's nails. I bought a separate file for heavier duty use.

Worked great for our squirmish rescue cat.
We took in a stray cat. He has been absolutely perfect, but super skiddish, so I was worried about clipping his nails. He uses a scratch post regularly, but I could hear his nails catching on blankets and such. I ordered these and hoped for the best. My husband held him by the back of the neck and I had all his nails trimmed in minutes. The scissors don't make a loud clip sound, which I was grateful for, because I know that would have scared the cat. It was so easy and the cut was nice and smooth. No more snagging nails!!!!

So far, so good!
I used regular (human) nail clippers to cut my smaller cat's claws, but my new cat is much bigger, including bigger paws and nails that won't fit in the human clipper! This one is easy to wield, and sharp enough to make clipping a quick job.

Great for ferrets
Got these to trim the nails of my four ferrets and these worked GREAT! Granted ferret nails are pretty easy to clip compared to dogs, it clipped very easily.I plan on trying these on my cat in a week when she's due for a pawdicure. I can't see these working for adult dogs.
