I purchased this to replace a punch that my wife uses to cut out labels for her candle/wax business. She had been using a Fiskars Lever Punch, X-Large, Circle for about a year, but the internal plastic broke. The Fiskars punch never worked perfectly, but it did the job, although the die didn't extrude far past the base when cutting. This is NOT a problem with the EK punch. This unit is absolutely perfect.The Fiskars unit claims to be a 2" punch, but punches 1 3/4" circles. I was concerned when ordering the EK, as the Fiskars punch didn't cut the size it said, so I didn't want her to have to return it. No worries... the EK is exactly as stated in the description. In addition to having the exact cutting measurement that is listed, it works amazingly well and cuts extremely easily. Every punch is perfect.I wish I had known about this punch when I bought my wife her first punch, as this one would still be going strong without question, as it is built like a tank!Bottom line: HIGHLY recommended5/5

Edit: after running the punch through several sheets of aluminum foil and using the wadded up foil to polish the cutting surface it works great. 3 stars has been updated to 5. I'm very pleased with this punch and am glad I didn't send it back!I love that this punch collapses and doesn't take up as much space as some of the 2" punches I've found. I gave it 3 stars because it isn't making clean punches yet. I'm working with it like I would a dull punch to see if I can remedy the issue before returning. Hopefully I can update my review when and if it starts making clean cuts. To be fair I am returning a 2inch HL punch because it sticks but issue was in the spring. Maybe 2" punches are hard to get to work right?

I was very excited to receive this product! but now I am very angry for having spent on something that does not even work, it is terrible that a brand like this does not take precautions: test before sending the product and obviously check the condition of the product along with its packaging, is this serious?Experience of the product received:- The condition of the box did not bother me when I saw it, however I thought it was only on the outside, when I took it out I discovered that it was also scratched not only in the central part but in several parts of the die. I gave it a chance that it would still fulfill its function but no, it is a horror, this does not even cut an office paper, it gets stuck, I tried with others and the same thing happened, the cut is not even clean and not to mention the pressure that should be done. I am a fan of saving, friend of not wasting materials but now I am disappointed to see how much material, ink, wasted light that will go straight to the trash, the worst purchase I've made on amazon.I don't recommend buying it at all, don't vote your money, research very well about other punching machines in the market or if you have the opportunity to buy in a local store it would be better! I think playing the lottery to see if you are the lucky one that this specific product will work for you should not be in your plans. For now I am in search of another tool to optimize my projects.I'm in the process of returning it, I'll update if I get a prompt solution!

I loved this punch and I wish I had an even larger one! The lock broke after using it a few times, but it was nice when it lasted. The punch still works well though.

This paper punch worked great. It cut the circle perfectly. I could see where I was cutting. My four year old could do it easily. Would buy from this brand again!

I bought one of these over a year ago. The blade had a bur in it, and it never quite worked right. It became unusable a couple of month ago since it started to warp. I had ordered a different brand with a plastic hinge, and that didn't last long before the hinge snapped. I have to admit that I'm cutting very thick papper with these. I'm back to this brand and am presently surprised by the improvements made. The blade is much slimmer than before, so it cuts with less effort.
